Strike Bowling Wintergarden reviews
86Absolutely amazing staff and atmosphere loved every second of it. They went above and beyond for the after party for volunteers
I absolutely love this place for lazer tag and bowling. And karaoke. After each visit I never go home disappointed.
Small alley with 11 or 12 lanes. Not a professional alley but adequate for an outing with friends. Good location in Queens St. Mall.
Had a 10 year olds birthday here. Staff were great, service excellent. Everyone had an awesome time. We will definitely go back again
The place feels a little bit rough around the edges from a technology perspective.
I noticed that the bowling displays have so much screen burn-in that some are quite hard to read.
And the worst thing was the pinsetter lane software crashed across all lanes and the lanes had to reboot. Haha, I've never seen lanes blue-screen before.
Apart from the lane issues, the wings are bloody fantastic, and most of the pizza (sweet chilli one is not recommended) is excellent.
Super fun. Bowling is only the beginning. Karaoke, Escape Room, Laser Tag, food, drinks, pool tables. Good times for all.
Never a dull night here. Heaps of fun with a group of friends, great deals and great staff. The bar is reasonably priced too
The guy who booked us in gave us a great deal on our games. Very fun vibe at this place compared to other alleys in Brisbane (AMF) the bar can make a decent cocktail too. If you haven’t already tried the puzzle room challenges give that a go, it’s not cheap but a fun time (even if we couldn’t win)
Really poor service, One of the staff member didn't note down a change to our time change after confirming to me that the change of time was all good and was to be taken care of when it wasn't. The manager in charge excuse was 'she's just new' without any apology for any stuff up. Really poor communication, if there's no friendly team workers using any teamwork, I would strongly suggest team members downgrading by working as a cleaner or a cook at Maccas. I have my own Personal Training business, which I was highly considering doing corporate business events, however I might just now go to AMF instead. If any constilation, one lovely bar staff member from Brazil was very friendly and well presented. The rest of the staff there can learn from her as the rest needs to learn the words customer service.
We did not even get to finish our game they shut are game down and kicked us out of the lanes.but the food was really good
We've tried bowling and their escape rooms. Must say this is a really fun place for the kids and the kids at heart.
Not a bad place to take the kids but a little expensive. Real bowling alley though without the strings.
Nicely located and affordable bowling alley in the city. The lanes are nicely maintained, and I found balls of various weights and hole angles to use.
They also offer decent food, including pizzas, and alcoholic beverages.
Various little games are around including giant connect 4 and giant Jenga.
The lanes each end with a screen showing strange clips unrelated to your bowling activities. I found these distracting and pointless.
Wasn't very busy when I went, but there aren't that many lanes, so I imagine it would be full quickly on weekends and holidays.
Had three young girls do the scariest escape room by themselves today- staff were so amazing in looking after them/giving hints when they were in the room (at times crying but too stubborn to give up).
Also got a complimentary game of bowling before the room as we arrived early, as well as free passes to a more chilled room for next time)
Thankyou so much! In particular to the girl at the front desk- she was awesome!
Very friendly staff, clean and maintained facilities. The laser tag is an awesome activity great for groups and the staff are always very friendly and prepared to have a laugh with you as well as getting their job done.
Our ball return machine broke and we weren’t allowed bumpers when other adults had bumpers. Only one of us was drinking and he’d had two drinks. We waited ages for them to try and fix the ball machine but we were eventually transferred to another lane.
Great venue for bowling, laser tag and escape rooms. Had a great night out for a friend’s birthday. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. Highly recommend.
Brilliant place! Me and 3 of my friends didn’t have a clue what to do today so we went into a visitor centre to try and find something. The first thing that jumped out to us was the escape rooms. We walked down to the venue, strike and were greeted with a friendly attitude and great smiles all round. The lady that was serving us was so nice and helpful explaining the each of the three rooms to us to see which one we would enjoy the most. We went for the scary one which was SO much fun even though we are all competitive.
We were told aswell that when you buy your ticket to the escape rooms, you get discount on the other activities available. We were given a free game of bowling and then we decided to give the lazer tag a go too for $6 with the discount which was also very fun.
Overall, brilliant experience today and I would definitely recommend to everyone and anyone! All of the activities were reasonably priced too. Massive thank You to the team that helped us today. From the Northern Irish girls:) *****
Going there with your friends I probably the best bowling place you could go to. With Grilled a step away you could have a very fun day there.
Advertised a deal for 'unlimited' bowling access - actually just a scam where they give you one game and after that say all lanes are unavailable even if half of them are empty. No notice of this was given either by the staff before paying and they were extremely rude when questioned.
