46 Blast music which is audible from the residential area even on weekdays occasionally but worst on Saturday nights from the roof and of course it's not audible through the walls so no police will bother to assist.
If you want to blast music at least build a roof instead of destroying everyone's sleep? Or do it downstairs?
Or play good music?
Solid bar with a nice upstairs area. Happy hour goes for 2 hours (4-6) and drinks are $6. Affordable price, perfect for an afternoon chill
New and nice place with indoor and outdoor settings + smokers area, however on ultra busy event nights lines are insane due to either slow bartenders or not enough payment terminals per line.
Happy hours are the highlight that too on a Friday!
A good spot for post office work bevvies
After a year on dialysis.
(And ofcourse not being able to drink.)
So glad I chose this place just a few blocks walk from my pad. Super glad I chose this one for my first quiet one.
Downstairs well layed back!
Beautiful views from upstairs area!
Smoking and non smoking!
Nick!
Nice to see such a hard working, lovely and reliable human, working such a nice venue!
Everytime I wanted to say hello when I seen himI got a phone call.
But honestly what a legend!
(10years experience myself.
Most of which was management.)
This guy has an absolute perfect balance between professionalism, safe service and a bar tender you can really comfortably yarn to!
Yarn ofcourse within appropriate time management between delivery of main service etc at all given times.
Legend.
And Again beautiful, clean and tidy venue!
Rooftop bar was a great space - shade in the afternoon was a blessing - with an awesome range of beers.
Closed. Yesterday was the last day. They were running the taps dry.
Had a great burger and chips!
Went here for lunch the other day its okay food wasn't bad but nothing hugely memorable. Beer was nice and cold. The exchange doesn't have a lot of atmosphere though so don't expect too much
In your final days,
I sat, with medium rare rump and pint of Coopers, for the final time.
I sat, and watched the lycra tide wash in, wash out, for the final time.
I sat, with colleges discussing and pontificating, putting the world to rights, for the final time.
I sat, drenched in conversations, waving to acquaintances, for the final time.
For the final time, at the Stocky, I sat.
We had a wonderful time! We were there to watch the Rugby world cup and South Africa won so that just made everything seem fabulous! It was very well organised, service was quick and friendly even though they were packed!
Was gonna be three stars, cos the vibe is not the kind where you talk to people you don't know, but the bad covered Africa, so 4 stars
Contracted security was abusing patrons as they were in line and leaving, flipping the off and such (prime security no. 592)
Our waitress was rude, two or three times and the beef burger was dry and flavourless. If your looking nightlife this place may float you boat if your on a budget. Also if your into drinking whilst gambling but i would not recommend this place for the atmosphere, the food or the service
Abusive security (prime security I think) and uncooperative staff, had a work outing ruined, probably won't be going back there
Great place for a lunch feed. Good solid pub grub done quick and right.and not crazy expensive like a lot of places.
Not a nice place, they serve their mates first. To be avoided. The manageress is the worst offender!
Went for a few nights whilst working in Brisbane. Good bar area, although staff were sometimes 'out the back' and had to wait a while to get served. Good range of beers on tap-4 pines at $8. Didn't eat there as there countless restaurants close by.
Pretty mediocre. Had a staff party here and to put it simply they just wanted it to be over as soon as humanly possible. Led to it being a rather boring outing and the service across the rest of the bar was lackluster to say the least.
The bartender in the black bodysuit and denim downstairs last night had an attitude towards everyone. Don't bring your problems to work and don't work in hospitality if you don't want to deal with customers. Doesn't hurt to smile. Other than that, all other bartenders were nice.
