SSAA, Ipswich Branch

A worthwhile drive from the Gold Coast. Staff are very serious about safety and procedure which is exactly what you want.
We were not aware we had to take our guns out of their carry cases from the car.
Range is ageing a bit and could do with a few new chairs on the range.

Highly recommended this range. Staff are always very helpful and friendly, most of the other shooters are too.

Very friendly bunch, explaining everything carefully to a first timer here and they don't have that stuck up attitude like officers at some other clubs. Happy to endure the 1.5hr drive here as it's clearly the best range in Brisbane.

Love this range - great ROs, relaxed atmosphere and great facility. Remember to take cash though as they don't have eftpos and to save a trip to an ATM!

Very busy place, you need to pick your times carefully. Well organised range, with helpful staff. Enjoyed our time there.

Great range. Shotgun range you can hire the throwers. Rifle range bench rests under cover. Pistol range firing l line under cover. I shoot metal silhouette each month. Great fun. Good people. Reasonably priced. SSAA range.

This is one of my favourite places to come shoot. The staff here are friendly and amazing. It has a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere whilst still maintaining safety as the most important objective. I love the shotgun range here too. It is nice to be able to shoot clays at your own pace and load up two rounds at a time. Overall, this range is a real shooters range and I love it

Great. Checked web site before driving out there, web site had range as open. But I wasted my time and fuel.

Had my very first rifle shoot at this range. All staff/ range officers were extremely professional and friendly. We now drive past belmont range just to go to ripley. Cant fault the experience for new and experienced shooters.

More relaxed than Belmont but the day I went it was very busy and a little unorganised. Apparently that's not the norm. No eftpos. Cash only.

Rifle range limited to 300m but that is fine for me. Great price on clay targets. The occasionally friendly ROs are always helpful. The safety courses are well run and usually full so book early.

Best place to get out on the range! Friendly staff and shooters. Covered Rifle and Handgun ranges. Food and Drinks available.
