Shapland Swim Schools - Gold Coast

Great staff. Very poor business model we are owed 12 odd make ups but are unable to use them, want next months payment even though we told them we cant make any dates. The MYsss app is not an app its a poorly coded attempt at a web page and as such does not work on our phones.

Highly recommend! We have been with Shapland Swim School for a couple of years now and I love it here. I have been to a few swim schools over the years with my girls and by far they have been the best. I love the make up system. I have enjoyed making the switch from another well-known swim school to Shapland SS. It feels much more like a family environment and my daughter is benefiting from the smaller class sizes.

Our child Joined shapland two weeks ago. She is afread of water and it's very hard to swim for her. When she joined shapland, now she liked swimming and progressing alot. We have not even thought she will learn swimming so quickly.

My daugther has been going since she was 6months old now she is almost 3yrs old and has learnt so much thanks to her amazing teacher Sandra at Gaven who not only teachers her how to swim but makes the lessons fun for her which she loves.

My 2 boys love coming here. My oldest has exelled in his swimming in the last 6 months and my youngest is doing so well also.

Very unhappy about the way they charge and its tricky which you don't want to be involved. Wast me $1000 and my kids learned nothing. Teacher is not good enough on teaching method and manager is tricky. Be careful before you enroll. Your kids need to go to a really good place to learn. Don't waste time and money.

I started my twin boys at swimming lessons at 12 months old. The teachers are always happy to take one of my boys while I take the other, which not all schools will do. Swimming lessons with twins would be impossible for us otherwise! The teacher's experience and happy attitude shows as my boys have always been calm and happy and enjoyed the experience even when with a stranger. The program is fun and the boys love it, but they're also learning great skills. It's a very friendly facility that makes us feel very welcome. We're looking forward to progressing for years to come.
The ability to login to the website or use the app to organize lessons is also excellent. It makes it simple and stress-free to cancel lessons and book make-up lessons when we need to. This flexibility is a huge plus!

My 2 daughters have lessons here at Gaven, the teachers are great with the kids and very accommodating, friendly and professional. My girls love there lessons, the pool is of a high standard and so are the facilities. I drive an hour to get to their lessons I'm that Happy and confident in this swim school.

Both our girls have been swimming for a number of years and Shapland Gaven have been the most amazing and supportive swim school that we have encountered. The staff have taken the time to get to know our girls on a personal level and take the time to enquire about events that take place in their lives. Once both reluctant swimmers our kids now really enjoy their lessons and look forward to them. The pool and change rooms are clean and hygienic and the enclosed play centre is a must have with younger pre-swimmers. With only 3 students per class, our kids gets the individual attention essential to learning this life skill and we couldn't be happier or recommend the school more.

We started taking our little boy here after going to a previous swim school that had 6+ children in the class in a very busy environment. At Shapland Gaven we feel that our child is getting the best care and attention and has developed much quicker than if he was in a bigger class. His class at Shapland is capped at 3 students and he has had the same instructor for over a year now. We love Miss Liz and my boy can't wait for his lesson each week. The facilities are excellent, clean, and there's a play area for the littlies also. We love it here!

I've been taking my son to Shapland swim school since he was about 7 months old and I love it! The instructors are fantastic and incredibly patient. With a maximum of 3 kids per class, you know that your child is getting a good amount of 1: 1 attention. My son gets bad eczema too, so I was worried about potential break outs after lessons, but thankfully he hasn't had any due to the mineral pool.

The staff are amazing, particularly Miss Alex, and we are very happy with how he has progressed with his lessons.

Both our girls attend Shapland at Gaven, I've always found the staff to be excellent, very friendly and supportive towards our children. Their swimming ability has improved no end since starting there and the 3 child limit per class is excellent. The online booking system for cancelling/making up lessons is so easy to use.

My daughter loves swimming here! Love the smaller classes and they focus on such important things to help the children if they ever fall in by accident so that they know what to do. Would definitely recommend.

We love Shapland Swim School at Gaven. After recently moving to the area we are so happy to find such a wonderful place for our son to have his lessons. Small classes, great teachers and the mineral pool is amazing! No smelly chlorine!

Having to change swim schools after recently moving down the coast we were quiet apprehensive. Ms Alex and the team have made us feel welcome from day one and the modern facilities, and payment methods have allowed us more time to focus on our sons development. Highly recommend and worth a look.

Our Daughter has been going to swim lessons at Gaven for over a year now and we have found the instructors to be very good and staff very helpful. If only our daughter would do what we asked as much as she does for the instructors.

My son has been to numerous swim schools and all of the others have been to loud and distracting. He loves Shapland at Gaven and gets so excited about going. HIGHLY recommend
