We highly recommend Shapland Swim School. The team at Gaven/ Pacific Pines are really great! Our eldest daughter has been going for nearly 3 years and has become more confident with water.

She has also developed her strokes and breathing techniques, this is all due to the amazing teachers at this school.
She also looks forward to her swimming class on Wednesdays!

Our youngest daughter has been attending for 2 years from babies class and now in the toddlers class. She has also developed an exponential level of confidence within the water.

My daughter has a very bad skin reaction to chlorinated pools. I searched all through the gold coast to find a pool that used magnesium in their water so she could continue swimming lessons. I found Shapland swimming school at Gaven was the only swimming school that used magnesium. Since coming to the school her skin has been fine. Not only is the water good but also the owner and staff are excellent. Diane, the owner personally came into the school on Indie's first lesson and subsequent lessons to first show us around and then to check how Indie's skin had reacted to the water. Jess the instructor is really good and Indie told me this is the best swimming lessons she has ever had. I'm so glad I found this swimming school. The facilities are really clean and tidy, the owner and staff are great and the lessons are great in a nice and calm environment.

Nice small swimming school at Gaven. Great friendly staff, chloride free pool, small groups, suits the best young children. Our son loves coming here.

Belinda and the team have been amazing. Our son had no confidence in the water after a bad experience with a previous swim school. He is now happily putting his head underwater and is no longer afraid. All the instructors we have had are fantastic with the kids. The limit of 3 kids per class is a stand out from other swim schools as well.

We have taken our son to swimming lessons since he was 5 months old and during this time we have seen his confidence grow every lesson he takes.
His enjoyment is fulfilling as a parent and well worth it for his future development.

We highly recommend Shapland Swim School in Gaven, Pacific Pines. Our daughter have her lesson there every Saturday. At the beginning she doesn't like it; but they have a very skilled and lovely instructors, that make it easier for our daughter to be comfortable in the water, now she even asked for additional class). She still have lots of things to learn and confidence to build, but she's getting better!

We know that swimming is not just for fun but an essential life-saving skills if they learn it right. And we trust that taking her in Shapland Swim School will give her the confident she needs to acquire such skills that will help her for the rest of her life.

Love there is only 3 children to a class, teachers are very patient. Would love the class to be a bit longer then 20min but other then that they are great.

After starting at gaven shapland my daughter has rocketed through her levels. After stopping lessons at another swim school 3 years ago because her eyes and skin reacted to the chlorine every week, she became frighted to put her head in the water. The staff at shapland helped over come this fear along with the magnesium pool and now she puts her head under and forgets to come up to take a breath lol. She loves it and I now don’t have the fear I did with her around the swimming pool. So we are winners all round

We love the small class size and consistency of teacher - Liz is gentle, but pushes the kids when she knows they are capable. My 4 year old has been at Shapland Gaven for 18 months and his confidence is continually improving - wouldn't hesitate to recommend this swim school.

We have been attending the Shapland Swim School in Gavin for the past three years and have had a wonderful experience. My 5 year old daughter is now learning to freestyle swim and my 2 year old daughter has gone from being terrified of the water to looking forward to her class all week, every week. Previously we attended a swim school with pretty big classes (5 students or more at a time) and it was a wonderful change to move to Shaplands where classes are limited to no more than three students at a time with no more than two classes running at the same time. It makes for a much calmer environment. We have loved the instructors as well, most of whom have worked there for a long period of time and can get to know your family well.

My daughter has been having swimming lessons here for over two years and I could not recommend them enough. I love that there are only 3 students per lesson and you have the same (and amazing!) instructor each lesson. My daughter has learnt so much and loves going to her lesson every week!

I have enjoyed improving my strokes at Shapland's Gaven swim school. The staff are friendly and supportive. I have regained confidence as a swimmer and am a better swimmer because of their hard work. The pool is heated and lovely to swim in. My eyes never feel sore because of the lower chlorine compared to other pools. I would recommend this pool for adult and children alike.

We literally moved nearby to be closer to this swim school, after a great experience at Shapland Everton Park. Our boys love the lessons. We had one issue with another child being aggressive in the playground but this was related to their parent being in the pool not the swim school's fault. We moved times to avoid this and have had no complaints since. Gentle but confident teachers and they run on time and are organised. A good experience and the Magnapool is great for our boys due to their sensitive skin.

Such a beautiful swim school. Clean facility, perfect pool for kids learning to swim and welcoming staff. My son loved his lesson and came out saying he had so much fun. Highly recommend joining!

Good central location, easy to find. Centre is always clean. And all of the instructors are very friendly.

We have been attending this swim school for 2 years. My son is taught by miss Belinda who in my opinion would be the best instructor in the goldcoast. Shapland Gaven thanks to your small personalised classes my little boy is now a confident little swimmer who enjoys attending his lessons with miss Belinda.
