I’ve been a regular here for a few months now (only because I didn’t know about them sooner). The team are super personable and the quality of their meat is top notch.

I just tried their espresso sausage for the first time thinking ‘why not’ and I can say that it certainly didn’t disappoint) yummo!

There is no better service than the kind folk at Rode meats! Every single time I go there the staff are so friendly, they always assist my wife with carrying our bags.the food is organic, fresh and service is amazing. I couldn't recommend these guys enough.

This place scores a perfect 10 from me. My goodness. Everything I have ever bought from here is better quality than the others (don't get me started on "supermarket meats" yuck). Friendly butchers who are more than happy to make a cut of meat your way. AMAZING pies and other hot ready-to-eat items. Will I be back? Of course I bloody will! This establishment is well staffed, by which I can only describe as "professionals". I'm lucky to live so close by to this place. Sincerely,

EDIT/Update - Bought some bacon this morning and cooked it for lunch. This was bacon which I only ever had in childhood. You wont get quality in bacon today like this from ANY supermarket. More edits to come - I want to scope this awesome butchery!

Best butcher EVER. We go here regularly for our meat, friendly service and excellent meat, displayed so well and makes it hard to choose what to get! They have a bit of everything!

Look, I've just moved to Bne and loads of people recommended, Rode Meats. Have some good butchers near me but thought I'd give it a go.

Tried my hand at smoking a new cut of meat. Went in and asked for what I needed. The bloke asked how I was cooking it. Shared my details and said I know nothing really and first attempt at smoking. Guys there were great, took the time to recommend some smoking tips and made some recommendations about how I should adjust my cut to suit what I was doing. During the whole process they were fantastic, they knew their stuff and made me feel comfortable as a rookie. After consuming a whole heap of their meat, I can say this place lives up to the hype. My new long term local.

Great meat, lots of variety, amazing service and lots of extras like ready cooked meals and desserts. Always happy to help.

In short there service is AWESOME and meat is GREAT too. The longer version we had a terrible day and chanced upon this place after putting a puppy to sleep at the nearby vet. Walked in with tears streaming down my face with to sad little boys in tow. The apprentice who met us at the door was kind understanding and shared his own doggy loss and then insisted on walking the entire complex just to carry our things to the car. Their meat was awesome, great brisket bones too. Everyone walked away smiling. Thanks so much for improving our day. We will be back every time we are in the area.

I have been using Rode Meats now for over 6 years and NEVER had a bad piece of meat.
Yes there is cheaper around, as the saying goes you get what you pay for! When feeding my family I only want quality, not quantity!
NEW PLUS - they make DELISH takeaway food. They have an amazing hot box and the BEST burgers and chips on the Northside of Brisbane. Just gets better! Keep up the yummy great work guys.)

First ever butcher I've been to with the best service. Everyone in there were super friendly and ready to help you out. Would highly recommend.

Asked for some topside to make jerky, the butcher was aware of me making it, still am confused on why he left so much fat on it! Went home and had to cut half a kilogram of fat off to chuck in the bin. And charged me 17$a kg. Rip off!

Great Service even when ya pop in on the busy Saturday Morning and ask the fellas to cut a coupla kilo of thin loin chops to cook on the BarBee. Good feed too
