Great service by the team behind the counter and the best tasting meat. Never a problem with quality. I've just bought a piece of wild barramundi from them, currently defrosting it but it smells like the ocean. Can't wait to try it. Brad and the team are legends.

I get people asking me how I get my Meat so tender or tasty when they come to my BBQ for the first time, it's not only my great skill in BBQing ;) the meat has to be of a good quality and Rode Meats always supplies me the best quality, as others have said you can get quantity at other Butchers but I prefer to be able to eat the meat and enjoy it.
There sausages are fantastic and I am not a sausage guy, never ate them as I never enjoyed the taste, Rode Meats sausages converted me to add sausages to my weekly rotation:)
I have never had a bad steak nor any problems like lots of gristle or fat or pumped full of water, like some places do.
I would highly recommend anyone to give them a go as you will be pleasantly surprised as we were after our Butcher of 25 years retired and recommended Rode Meats.

I go for QUALITY over quantity when it comes to meat. These guys at Rode always hit the nail on the head. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for and the service is always friendly.

This is the best butcher in Brisbane. The meat and meals are always high quality, amazing range of foods/ready made meals and the staff just delightful.

Once a fortnight, I have a couple of clients around this location. Between clients, I have about an hour to kill. I usually go grab a pie from the Brumby's bakery right next door and consume it while pondering, how does an independent butcher survive in this day and age? Today I tried the rib eye pie, and I gotta say, it was -by far- the best pie I've eaten in a looong time! Had a wee squiz at the impressive array of meats on display. Looking forward to next fortnight and another pie.and will probably get some steak while I'm at it. Oh, and whoever makes the pies at Brumby's should pop next door for a lesson or two; the butcher is light years ahead in that department!

The best service, product consistancy, and quality in Brisbane. Their new ready made products are outstanding. I often get a brisket and holoumi pie for lunch and it is worth every cent. The embodinent of 'you get what you pay for', Brad and his team are without peer.
