RACV Royal Pines Resort Gold Coast reviews
58Extremely pleased with this hotel. Customer service was top notch, especially their high housekeeping standards. Reception allowed late checkout on our last day. Hotel rooms had large double queen sized beds which were very comfortable to sleep in. There are many amenities around the hotel which we didn't use but it was on par with other 5 Star hotels in asian countries.
Lovely spacious resort with plenty of facilities to cater for adults and children, great play area and pool. Our room was quite outdated but it was clean. Reception and concierge staff were very friendly and helpful. Car parking was an issue as there was a wedding and convention on the same night as our stay. I would've thought guests would have allocated parks. Otherwise, it was a great experience.
A tremendous effort has been made to keep my family comfortable during our stay. This is truly a memorable and perfect stay for my family. Well done to everyone in Royal Pines Resort.
I love this resort. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food offered at the restaurants is great. I live being able to sit at the Cafe in the middle and look out at the golf course and stunning grounds. The staff are kind and friendly.
Absolutely speechless!
The quality of customer service is like no other! They impressed me from the get go with their warm welcome and their sympathy (as I had to book their rooms last minute due to change of plans). They greeted me with up most respect and made me feel welcome. One of the best thing about this place is their 24/7 access to reception.
The heater in our room wasn't too warm (as it was freezing outside) so the staff upgraded our room to higher floors almost immediately! The food quality was also amazing. I will most definitely be back here everytime i visit the Gold Coast. Absolutely loved you guys!
Ate in Italian restaurant with my parents who were staying at the hotel in room 2007, ordered an antipasto (don’t bother) and felt ripped off by a platter of $36 that wouldn’t feed a flee. Complaint and even had the manager over who simply brushed us off. Very poor service and response to a genuine customer complaint.
I own a hotel so I am bewildered at such a response in a 5 star hotel.
A great place to stay. Our room was clean and had an amazing view of part of the golf course and walk ways. The beds were super soft and comfortable. We had breakfast buffet in one of their restaurants. When you sit down at your table, someone quickly brings you out a tray containing 1 croissant, a small serving of yoghurt, and a bowl of fresh fruit. There was lots of hot food, bacon, hash browns, sausages, baked beans, pancakes, toast, eggs and tomatoes. They had a lot of selections of fruit juices. All food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff worked quickly to dish out everyones food. The only thing that was disappointing to us is that we would have preferred a buffet of the fruit and croissants. When we asked the waitress if we could please have another bowl of fruit, she advised us that the fruit, yoghurt and croissants are not on the buffet menu. Apart from that, it’s a nice place to stay, very family orientated.
My family rates this as the best 5 star experience in Gold Coast and yet not expensive.
A very big hotel complex, full of tranquility yet very neat & clean hotel. Not that far from all happenings.
Perfect place for a family with kids to relax and have a good time for everyone.
All staff are exceptional and always smiling even they delivered food to Play area with a smiling face.
Highly recommended.
Luxury at its best. An 18 hole golf course plus a separate 9 hole couse across the road. 6 restaurants, casual coffee lounge, a kids paradise with huge water park & separate undercover playground. Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful modern, serviced rooms all with outstanding views of the Gold Coast hinterland or distant sea views. We had a ball with our grandchildren & family. We will be back.
I stayed at the resort for 2 nights as part of a friend's wedding and the experience was fantastic. The couple that was getting married booked multiple rooms on the 20th floor which had panoramic views of the resort and the rooms were clean. Room service foods were better than expected as well. These all mounted to a 4 star experience for me until we met Marion who took care of the couple's wedding second half of day 2 of the stay where it started off with Marion leading the couple, grooms team and bridal team for photoshoots around the resort in a buggy. At one point, we walked too far from the buggy and so during the shoot, Marion moved the buggy one by one closer to us to make everything more comfortable. During the reception, she remembered everyone's drink preferences and kept the drinks flowing! I thought she was only taking care of the wedding party table until I heard a friend from another table compliment Marion for her service as well. She also kept all the bouquets and left over flowers in the fridge overnight to keep them fresh. These small attention to details really left a great impression on me and I'm so happy that the couple was taken care of by a genuinely caring staff.
Have stayed here about 10 times now and is brilliant, every time.
Staff are friendly and the outdoor pool area is a massive hit with the kids.
Pretty old place. Staff not great
They don't even bring bags to your room and even have the nerve to ask you to bring the trolley back.
Absolutely beautiful ballroom, brilliant food and service. Incredible team to work with as a hirer and stunning venue as a guest. I can't recommend this venue highly enough.
Fantastic place to keep children occupied, The restaurants whilst they may be rated do not cater for children. I really think they need to add a more family oriented restaurant. Our room needed refurbished. In the bathroom over bath is a partial glass door definitely not kid Friendly, the bottom of the bath is chipped and marked badly even to the point I had to prove to my grand daughter it was clean. The trim on the bottom of the vanity cabinet had sticky tape on it to stop it peeling back any further. The beds and pillows are not comfortable and the Double beds had single donnas on them. The.older staff are less than polite but the younger ones are amazing you can see they are really happy to be there the young faces beam with enthusiasm. We order two coffees and waited 35 minutes for them when I complained I was met with a less than polite attitude. So disappointed. What amazes me is they have the in house resturants but during our stay so many uber deliveries. Is this not telling them they are lacking. Try a BBQ around the pool in the peak season it would do exceptional well.
Fist time staying, and we were treated like royalty!
The Royal Pines Resort did not disappoint. We are a young family, and the resort was ultra family friendly. The water park is perfect for the kids.
The Golf Course was amazing to play, the attention to detail was incredible. Kudos to the Green keepers.
Make sure you head down to the tepanyaki for a super fun filled evening of flames, fresh fish and friendly staff!
Fantastic to see a club where you truly are valued as a member. Can't wait for my next stay!
Keep up the great work! Brilliant.
Its not luxurious but very comfortable. Great urban views including the gold course. Service is warm and friendly, I think it is a little over the price point given the abundant competition
In my opinion I believe this hotel is not up to a 5 star rating as they say it is, the rooms were hot and stuffy cause there was no air flow and they had locked the mini fridge on us so we couldnt use that, the beds were uncomfy and could feel the springs, their food was good but they really didn't cater for everyone and lifts are constantly taking forever to come get you. Overall it was a nice hotel very big but in my opinion they just need to refurbish it and make it look modern cause at the moment some floors look very old and dated.
This was a fantastic experience. Stayed here with my sister and niece whilst the dance championships were on. The staff were absolutely amazing and went over and above on every level. Even made my niece up a lunch pack whilst at the championships. Every experience from the front desk to the restaurant and even the room service and cleaners were amazing.
Will definitely be staying here when I return to the Gold Coast. Thank you.
Great location & surrounds, friendly and helpful staff, good food, clean and well maintained rooms You guys ticked all the boxes. Thanks for a great break. We will be back!
I had a great experience at the Royal Pines. The room was very nice, with a great view over the Gold Coast and the golf course. The pools were great, and the restaurant options were fantastic.
