Racquet Film Processing Studio reviews
58I have been a returning customer over the last 3 years and thought it was about damn time I left a review. I'll start by saying, there's a good reason why we've been returning. The customer service is efficient and friendly and make all customers, knowledged in film or new to it all, feel included and welcomed. The photos themselves turn out absolutely amazing and you can tell that every scan has been handled with love and care. If you needed a genuinely good film developer who do everything in-house (and not to mention, used by Robert Irwin) I could not recommend anywhere else higher
Had the experience of dealing with them during a hard period with a broken scanner and ill staff - they still provided an amazing service and i couldn't be happier to call myself a regular here now. Amazing team with 10/10 service
Great place to develop film. It's a shop dedicated solely to film developing and so on, so they know what they're talking about. Friendly staff, good vibes. I've been left disappointed by other places in Brisbane so to have Racquet nearby is fantastic
Everyone has their go-to lab and I like trying various labs. As far as quality and a personal service goes, Racquet are the best film processing lab in Brisbane and are top tier in Australia. Also a good place to buy a film camera! Also like that they do things in house rather than shipping off.
I'm not a super experienced film photographer but I'm also not a noob, and I can appreciate their growth since they started, even staying open during covid. Hope film photography keeps growing so places like this stay open. Only downside is they sell out of film super quick, but it's easy to stock up with their recommendations, or just jump in on their next order.
Gallery is rad too.
Always accommodating and always super friendly. Easy parking and a team who will always take the time with you
Super fast turn around time! Always get the best quality from these guys. Great customer service. An all round awesome experience.
Friendly service, good pricing and a quick and professional turnaround. Would recommend to everyone!
Love working with Racquet Film, they are always super helpful and fast turn around for developing film.
I can't speak highly enough of this team of absolute legends.
I've been getting film developed by them for years, and its always been faultless.
I recently purchased my dream camera, a Nikonos V, through them, and the team at Racquet Image, Sam and Kilian, delivered impeccable service. I was kept abreast of all movements, they showed me the camera being inspected, they furnished me with some additional goodies for a very fair price, and IT WAS SEAMLESS. Which, in this Corona-affected world, is a very VERY good thing.
Thanks again legends.
Brilliant quality service. The person I spoke to had lots of of great advice, tips and tricks and was extremely helpful regarding any questions I had.
Incredible customer service (and a cute dog!). Provided scans in under a week, and they look incredible. I’ll definitely be coming back with my next rolls of film:)
There were a few issues when my film was processed & sent.and these guys were nothing short of helpful and understanding in the process!
100%% recommend! Good quality & the best customer service!
These guys are amazing. This is my 2nd time using them and they always deliver high quality images which don't require any further editing. Highly recommended.
This place has the coolest vibe when walking in, were super friendly and helpful when I need enquires over the phone about my film. Really friendly staff aswell! Best film scans I’ve ever received, at a really affordable rate aswell! Will be back again for sure xx Thankyou so much!
I felt so welcomed here in this beautiful store, a newby, entering with trepidation, expecting to be mocked. Such a wonderful experience, and I've shared it with so many friends. Refreshing. Thank you.
I came across these guys not long after they expanded into film processing when looking for a developing lab closer to my workplace in Brisbane. As others have already commented here, this is not a 1hr lab turnaround time but they do an amazing job on the processing of your film scans. It doesn't matter whether you are an experienced professional or an outright noob at film photography in the digital age, you are treated the same with professionalism and helpful friendly service. A credit to the team that has undergone significant change since they have opened up to the greater public.
What a fabulous small business - from the moment i first walked into the store the service was friendly and efficient. Racquet's product is first class and they care about their customers. A great experience!
Fantastic small business! Unbelievable customer service, always happy to answer questions and help where ever they can. Great prices for individually colour corrected photos. Only took about 3 working days before I got mine back. Would recommend and I will definitely use them again.
My overall experience has been great, everyone at the lab is friendly, helpful and attentive. Although some results were negative (pardon the pun) due to my own fault, the last roll came out amazing and it reassured me that film photography is a challenge worth pursuing. Always try new ways, new cameras (or old ones), be creative.
Thanks guys and have a merry Christmas and all the best in 2020!
Racquet Film are my favourite film lab in Australia! They put quality over quantity. I honestly haven't had a bad scan from them, they take their time to develop each roll by hand and produce your images they way the film stock was intended to look. Here's a few other reasons I rate their service.
- The staff are super helpful and happy to chat too
- They put your negatives into sleeves that clip into a binder, this saves you loads of time and means less fingers touching the negs.
- They give you a personal dropbox that lets you access every roll you've ever had developed at Racquet. (Other labs host your scans for 2 weeks and then they are gone forever so if you forget to download them to your hard drive their gone and you gotta start again)
- They offer three scan resolution options which is super handy depending on your job.
Overall, I'm stoked they exist!
