Excellent method of showing how to get the Latin moves …They put everyone to dance! Worth the price as a Lifestyle & Leisure Officer at Bupa, I will recommend them!

Best wedding dance lessons on the Gold Coast. I had the best time learning how to salsa and Latin dancing is so much fun!
I took private dance classes with Clement and he is an amazing dance teacher. I learnt salsa, bachata and kizomba classes. And I fell in love with all those Latin dance style. I love the music and can’t stop watching the wedding couple first dance.
I highly recommend this place to learn how to dance! And create memorable memories!
Thank you dance classes Gold Coast

Cannot recommend Passada enough! Jo and Clement are incredible dancers and teachers and treat everyone like a big family. Doesn't matter if you have never danced before they both take the time to help you with ways to improve technique (and for some of us rhythm)
The most inclusive and fun dance school I have been to.

First dance school I've ever signed up for and not a single regret. Wide varieties of dance styles, teachers are amazing and also the students. It feels like one big family. Might be the only school I like attending

Passada offer a wide range of classes and workshops in Afro/Latin Dance in Burleigh. Jo and Clement are fantastic teachers - extremely friendly and approachable, they have created a warm and encouraging learning environment. Their classes are fun and engaging while always offering modifications so you can work at your own pace or extra corrections to enhance your learning, no matter what level class you are taking. They have taken so much time and energy to help me improve as a dancer and have inspired a brand new love of all things Afro Latin Dance! Warning: their classes are extremely addictive!:)

What an awesome salsa class! Came in on a Monday night for a casual class in Byron Bay with a couple of friends and had so much fun. Clement is a fantastic teacher, and will teach you to learn a full dance in your first lesson. Byron Bay - your Monday nights are now free for salsa!

Joanna and Clement are amazing dance teachers. Each class is challenging and rewarding, where Jo and Clement support you to have fun and be a better dancer. Jo and Clement have created a very friendly and supportive environment, where you continuously grow and improve as a dancer and a person. Passada dance classes are the highlight of my week and I look forward to many more classes.

Well, I had the pleasure of being introduced to "Passada" - School of Afro Latin Dance through my involvement in a "Cancer Council" Charity Fundraiser. I was nominated to be a "Star" for "Byron Shire Dance for Cancer", a huge fundraising event and given Salsa as me Genre of Dance partnering with Clemente and Jo. Clemente of course was my actual Dance Partner and JoJo was my Technical and Salsa Mentor. I was given 5 weeks to learn Cuban Salsa and I can assure you this was a huge challenge for a non dancing, not so young and flexible female, whom felt she didn't possess any groove what so ever.
There are not enough words to explain how much I enjoyed this journey, due to the level of patience and understanding Clemente and JoJo showed throughout the whole experience. I walked into my first class in Byron totally intimidated by the task ahead of me, but left one hour later excited and smiling from the pure endorphins flowing from my first Salsa lesson. Over the next 4 weeks my training intensified and I participated in their classes at Miami, along with private lessons, every minute of this time was soooo much fun, and I now miss all the crazy hours we spent together.
The whole environment at "Passada" is happy, welcoming and uplifting, this is due to JoJo and Clemente's patience and sincerity towards everyone that joined their classes. Weekly, strangers would walked through their doors to class, and leave as friends. These new friends walked out with an appreciation and confidence in their dancing skills, which was evident in the level of banter, laughter and smiles at the end of the night. This is the joy that coming to their classes gives to you.
The only daunting task throughout the whole process was the thought of performing on stage along with Clemente (who's dancing skills are far more than impressive) in front of 180 people. Clemente and JoJo gave me confidence throughout this whole process and never gave up on perfecting my Shimmy Technique! Being involved with them both and everyone at "Passada" has been one of the most rewarding, challenging and uplifting experiences of my life. I have loved the new friends I have made and feel fortunate to have met two of the most amazing people in JoJo and Clemente and their world of Cuban Salsa.
Treat yourself and try one of their Classes, you won't be sorry. You will be treated with hugs and smiles and welcomed by all! I am now a converted lover of "Passada" and am continuing on with their dance classes
P. S. THEY ARE SUCH AMAZING TEACHERS THAT WE TOOK OUT PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD ON THE NIGHT! (and JoJo skills on the floor are just as impressive as Clemente's)

I love going to passada classes, lots of fun laugh and beautiful people. The teachers are really good in what they do and always happy to spend extra time to help you out with what you struggle with.
