Very unpleasant experience! Have shopped in the store for years to support the local business! I will never shop again in this store! The lady at the counter was very stubbornly unhelpful. For a return of item worth $18 at the same time I was about to purchase $ 220 faucet. She didn’t care! You will get better treatment in Bunnings! Gone is the local friendly costumer service, sadly!

Awesome local independent hardware store with deceptively large number of high quality items and good value. Always available expert advice is a bonus. Such a pleasure to explore the seemingly endless nooks and aisles of goodies. Very rare that I need to visit the other big-green-box hardware stores anymore.

I ordered some fancy brass GPOs and switches online. I left it 2 weeks, I thought aggh it’s probably delayed as are a lot of shipments in these times. I called this morning and Max got back to me. There had been a glitch in their online platform, fixed now, one of the staff who lives near here will drop over on the way home!

Great customer service, great range of products and prices. I also support Warwick at Mitre 10 Kenmore who often recommends Paddington Hardware.

Happy to support these guys. Not only because it's our local hardware store but because they do things right: good prices, good range of stock and always helpful staff.

The place is way bigger than it looks and holds lots of stock, and the staff are super helpful and always try to help you out. I always go there.

Peter was great he had a lot knowledge about the products and served me well. It has always been a pleasant experience when purchasing products from there.

Definitely my favourite hardware store anywhere in the world. Really good staff and great range of products. Much prefer coming here than that one which starts with B. They in particular have great stuff if you own a Queenslander or colonial style house and need brass fittings for doors or windows. Also bought plumbing pipe and fittings at what I consider a very fair price. I got my keys cut here and pool chemicals. Have it all. Thanks guys.

Friendly helpful staff that go out of their way to assist you. Huge range of hardware and paint at very competitive prices. Very handy location central to West End, South Brisbane, Paddington, Red Hill etc. Key cutting, quality timber (that didn't have leaves growing on it the day before like some big box competitors) and quality merchandise. Paint matching is 1st rate. Prices are very competitive with you know who.

Always sooo helpful! Staff are very knowledgeable and always soo helpful - giving tips and advice on some DIY projects I have done. They always seem to have what I need. A convenient place! Really glad to see it hasn't been pushed out by the bigger companies!

Support your local hardware store! This family business is very kind. Huge range of items. They have the odd range of heritage fittings for houses that cannot be found elsewhere. Prices sometimes are higher, but on most are lower than Bunnings. Staff know there stuff more than Bunnings. Very knowledgeable.

Friendly staff and an incredible range of products. I liked Paddington Hardware already but it has become essential now that I own an old Queenslander and am trying to preserve its character.

A gem in the rough, cheaper than bunnings on most of their range and far more pleasant.

Another great local hardware store where the service was awesome. Parking is a bit tight due to popularity and small car park but worth the wait.

Amazing range. Had a waste washer that 3 specialty plumbing chains couldn't source. Even more notable because I had a similar experience a week earlier on an unrelated item.

I price check my purchases at Paddington Hardware and most of the time they are significantly cheaper than the others. Seriously!

Great service and supply plants could be slightly less expensive but overall my favourite local hardware and I believe it's Tom who is always great with helping out loading supplies or tips and tricks for the garden great experience and so friendly ️

Amazing selection of useful stock in one hsndy location at Paddington. The staff here are helpful and are very experienced with good advice and product knowledge
