Ordered online click and collect said it would be instore in 7 days. 5 weeks later still no phone call or email. Went instore click and collect girl not interested and so dam rude. Went in a second time Same click and collect girl said she couldnt refund my money and I have to call up some 1300 number. So annoyed I needed this purchase for my business and it didnt arrive.

I often have documents binded at the Mackay store of Officeworks, sometimes I can get them done the same day or early the next, but majority of the time you HAVE TO BOOK THEM IN! I have never heard of such an absurd idea to wait 2-3 days for a 40 page booklet to be coil bound. That I'm sorry is ridiculous and because they are pretty much the only ones in town that do it, you are stuck with the wait. Nothing like getting things done quickly at this shop. Most of the staff are pleasant, but there are a couple of quite rude employees who don't really explain the process nor really care that sometimes jobs become urgent, neither does the website (not that I could easily find) and I wanted to yell at her (which is not me at all). Now if that wasn't enough to be cranky about, I waited in line for quite some time to be served to be told that I had to wait for 2 days, but before me, there were customers needing copying done that had it completed while they waited at the counter, and so did the rest of the line while their job was completed, yet mine takes 2 days! Officeworks, I don't get it! Either employ more staff or offer a do-it-yourself service for binding. It pains me to have to visit your store everytime I go unfortunately!

I have never written an online review, but today I felt compelled to write this as this is my 2nd bad experience with their printing service.

I ordered my 20page Photobook using their kiosk, which even after 2 days wait, didn’t come out correctly! Pages were arranged in opposite order, and they were falling apart just minutes after I got them. Went back to the counter to tell them about their errors but I didn’t even get any apologies! Thankfully they printed second product free of charge, which funnily enough could be completed there and then and was surprisingly acceptable. Meaning they could actually get their job right if they cared enough and put in a decent amount of effort.

Like I said this wasn’t my first bad experience. Previously, I had my study notes printed here (gave them my USB) and they also came in the wrong order! Strangely enough the printed notes ordered online however came back perfect.

I guess this is what happens when your employees only care about money and don’t have pride in their job or their company’s reputation.

Chelsea, front door MD, is awesome! So aware of her situational surroundings to make things move quickly, smoothly and calmly, even to arranging a forwarded EFTPOS sale for one item to get customers through checkouts even more quickly. A gem of an employee. Cultivate that lass and appreciate her multi-tasking.

Can't even walk next door to deliver a parcel that has already been paid for.how’s that for customer service

Special mention to Scott and Chelsea for your wonderful service today. I walked in store to ask about the 'Back To School' collection process online as I was having some technical difficulties ordering online. Not sure why it wouldn't work, but both Scott and Chelsea were so patient, understanding and very helpful in making a stressful situation super easy.

I visited on Christmas Eve and the store was in fine condition. Easy to maneuver through the aisles with the floor stock and end of aisles. I needed to get specific items and they had everything but 2 particular items.
I noticed the store was in full stock but repeated items spread out in bulk to fill specific places, to look full and tidy.
The team were very friendly and helpful. I met 'that guy's that knew where everything was. The people greeter was polite and sweet.
Covid signage is placed about and there is sanitizer as you enter and more located at points of contact.
I managed to buy more then I came for like Bunnings lol.
They prefer cashless payments.
Wheelchair friendly in and out of the store.

Ordered a tablet online was then told a few days later that they dont have it instore had to order from warehouse.wont get my item for almost a month.first bad experiance with office works

Great service! I asked where HDMI's were sold and their staff helped me out tremendously, explaining their uses and making sure I got the right one I needed! I recommend!

Love shopping at this place. The parking is usually OK and the opening times are very handy. It's just a shame that it's not a locally owned business. But the staff are very well trained and always willing to help (they seem to know what they are talking about, too - like IT stuff).

Got rugby tackled by the security guards when I tried to eat 3 entire packs of staples. Poor service, they should've been nicer to me!

Great place to get all your office, administration supplies and printing. Staff are friendly and most importantly efficient.

Great store when I need to buy some stationary and when I need to print something out or buy an electronic device form there e.g. A laptop. Their staff are good and very helpful and help you when help is needed. Their prices there are very low at times which is good when I want to buy something that usually costs more. Over all I think that this is a very good store and would definitely guarantee this too other people

Come here all the time to print photos for family members. Staff are helpful although sometimes understaffed and line ups are longer than need to be.

Just got off the phone to my mother who had a very upsetting time at your store. She went there to print pages from her phone & had very poor service by a lady whom I'm not going to name for privacy reasons. My mum isn't tech savvy & needed help emailing them to the store computer. The lady was very blunt & rude and she did not want to help at all.
Seriously annoyed. I think this person needs better customer service skills.

This place has more than you'd think and the prices are very competitive. Staff are helpful but don't expect experts.

Printing service is good, fast and cheap. Some days when it is busy printing can be a little delayed.

Just had a great experience with Office works Mackay the staff were great to deal with helping me print out and scan/ email paper work for an employee. Their response was immediate which I couldn't ask for better, thank you Bec. Cheers Dave Taylor

I bought a bluetooth wireless headphone for my daughter, then i found a good deal on better quality headphone on ebay. Took it back to Officeworks and the manager more than happy to match the price as they LPG promised. So please with the services. Highly recommended.
