Great range of office supplies. Not much they don't have. Staff are willing to help and are respectful.
One of the girls at the printing section. Directed the old couple to use the self-service printer despite only them & me in the queue. I finished printing & did window shopping. Around 10 minutes later, the couple were still sorting out the printer. I asked them to go to the counter. There was already a queue with 5-6 people waiting by then. The girl could have served them & be done in 5 minutes or less - standing & walking is quite an effort for them oldies.
Really good service.
Came in to print A4's.

Officeworks Mackay just fantastic!
Went there today 24.07.23 about 11am to print some documents. I've done it many times before but this time somehow the printer wasn't displaying the document I sent properly. Was getting flustered cos the line of people waiting was pretty big and I hate being the one slowing things down. Then this lovely gentleman came around and he helped me solve the issue. He walked me through what I need to do for the file to display correctly and it finally printed. Wanted to say thank you for helping me, I didn't get your name but you know who you are an asset to company!
I came into Officeworks Mackay to shop for my kids school supplies and one worker, Kaeli, helped me out. She was charismatic and kind, very well done young lady.
Saying a massive thank you to Clint - I have asked several times at different places for help to solve my tech issues, with no success - Clint was very helpful and had it sorted in no time at all!
Friendly staff member not interested in a sale for a laptop. Take it or leave it. She advised us to go online. Went to JB HiFi spent all my money happily.
There are plenty of one star reviews. Don't blame them. My advice to the lazy and inept staff at Officeworks: if you don't like your job, look for another one and make way for competent and friendly sales staff!
Don't bother trying to get your photos developed. Old machines some working, sometimes. Complete waste of time.
Was looking to buy a new Tablet. Near $1000 worth. Was quiet. Next to no customers. Was looking around for 30 min. No service at all. I ride a motorbike so I had a jacket, bag and helmet in hand. I would say poor customer service, but I didn't have any. Was only acknowledged but the young girl at the door. On the way in and the way out. Not impressed, went to JB Hifi. Got served in Less than 3 minutes.
Went there to print a collage, asked nicely was told rudely to go to the kiosk (try to asked question as my collage wasn’t a normal size, she didn’t care) … tried to do it myself - App downloaded on my phone wouldn’t connect to the wifi. The lady at the counter was so rude I didn’t ‘dare’ to disturb her again… left without my prints. Will go to Caneland photoshop next time!
Always have the items I’m chasing and the staff are friendly whenever I visit. Pricing is competitive and the products are good quality.
Absolutely poor customer service! Plenty of staff instore. But nort one willing to stop what they are doing to help and show a customer where a product is. Very poor service! I won't be wasting my time there again. I went next door to Jaycar and got great customer service as soon as I walked in the door, got the product I was after and was out within 4 minutes. No fuss.

The few times I have been in for a printing job it has been 1/2 hour and more wait. Just ridiculous.
