Today I spoke with Jacob. He was kind, patient and eager to help. Best customer ever. Thank you Jacob.

Very unsatisfactory visit to Officeworks Bundaberg. Print staff most unhelpful and disinterested in our needs. 4 girls behind the counter, no other customers at the time but would not show us what to do. We left without our printout.

Terrible service by Talliah. I had never used the machine to print an email. I have printed a few times and they ask me to email them and they happily print. I explained that and Talliah said I must use the machine and walked off. She just walked away. No help at all. In future please help customers.

Thought I'd be clever and email documents for printing so they would be ready when I got there, wrong. After waiting at the counter for over 5 minutes while the staff were busy hiding from the customer's, I finally spoke up and a staff member slowly came over. Promptly told they don't print for customers any more and I was handed a pamphlet and a very basic instruction to read the pamphlet and pointed in the direction of the printers. After a 15 minute wait, as the 2 document printers were occupied I attempted to use the machine. Probably a lot easier if a staff member actually stood there and explained how to proceed. After returning to the counter for assistance 3 times I was actually helped by another customer who was an ex-employee. Not 1
Staff member would leave the comfort of the counter to help. Once upon a time OfficeWorks had terrific customer service, not sure what's happened. I won't be going there again as I refuse to serve myself at Office Works or any other store. I'm not an employee, you don't pay me so why do I have to do it myself? Why bother having staff there.

On my visit to this store this afternoon, I noticed one of their large step ladders just left on the floor unattended, no safety chain. My daughter wanted to run straight up, so obviously I stopped her, but was dumbfounded such a safety hazard was there in the first place. Off course, it is the responsibility of the parent to keep an eye on their kids, which is something I agreed with the lady at the counter, but she was so naive to the potential danger it could cause. Kids are kids, and they are prone to running off at the drop of a hat. I have worked at many stores, and never in any of those places was it okay to leave a big step ladder (with no safety chain even) unattended on the shop floor. What made it worse was the attitude from the shop assistant, she gave of a strong impression that she didn't care one bit if a child played on that thing and got injured, just that the wheels were locked, as if that was a prevention.
This is basic health and safety stuff; not in A-Mart, Ikea or even Lifeline had I seen such negligence.
Generally, the people there are good, but I was astounded by the lack of care this attendant had for any potential accident.
I don't want anyone to be fired, just reminded of some old fashioned common sense.

Most arrogant young staff. Doesn't seem to be worried about problems arising from customer having trouble. Will not be coming back.

Typical country town officeworks. If they don't have it, they will order it in for you. Well stocked, helpful staff. Parking can be an issue, so look before entering the carpark and watch for exiting vehicles. Car spaces are not really for bigger vehicles and turning areas are very tight.

Called to get a printing job fixed that they stuffed up, had to try and call over 2 hours! No answer and extremely long hold times with no answer. Worst store.

Team member Erin literally threw our $200 purchase in our direction across the counter - yes, threw it. Glad it wasn’t one that could easily break … It hit the counter by us with a slap where we proceeded to pick it up and walk away. A smile, genuine interaction, and the courtesy of handing someone their item or sliding it to where they can reach (anything aside from throwing it) would be a welcomed change for this store.

Don't bother trying to get their price beat guarantee.
They will not price match with Telstra or Optus phones on like for like despite the huge price beat guarantee sign out the front & the "price beat guarantee" on every staff uniform shirt.
Think it's misleading advertising.

The new self service printers are terrible, waiting for over half an hour every time I have to print something and I walk out before I get to the machine as I’m to busy to be standing around just to print if one piece of paper. Machines don’t work properly and to many steps just to get a print. Horrible, won’t go to officeworks again. Looks like I’m not the only one as 3 others walked out as well.

My interest was in Samsung tablets & Tamara was summoned to help me by friendly counter staff. Tamara quickly came across and after I explained problems I had with my existing device, she clearly explained various solution options. She examined my 2018 model and suggested possible methods to remedy the device before deciding to update it.
This service level is always appreciated but not always received in some competitor stores. I've experienced it at another Officeworks store near where I lived in NSW and this is a core reason I strongly prefer Officeworks. Thanks Tamara!

Stock levels are a joke. And the website will say something is in stock, so you head in to buy it, and oh would you look at that, it's out of stock. Workers make it obvious that helping you is an inconvenience on them, which is funny cause it's what they're paid to do.

I think there are some people working at this store who are still racist. Just because of my skin colour some male employee at the cash register thought i was capable of shop lifting. This guy greeted the client before me, asked for her flybuys card, wished her a nice day after she'd paid. When it was my turn this male cashier did not bother saying good day to me, did not ask for my flybuys card but i made sure i gave it to him to scan. After i had paid the cashier did not bother wishing me a nice day. To make matters worse he must have activated the alarm to sound when i was getting out for everyone to turn and look at me standing at the exit door. Not that i was carrying anything i hadn't paid for, something i can never do and have never done. This cashier left me to stand at the exit for a minute or more so everyone could see me before he turned the alarm off and said i was good to go. Of course i was waiting for one of the staff members to come and search my bag because i knew i had not stolen anything. None of them did, they just left me to stand there and be humiliated. Officeworks bosses you need to organise some cultural diversity training programs for your staff.

When I turn 93 I’m going to hang out at OfficeWorks and demand 45 minutes of help from two staff members at the same time, just so I can print three pictures of my grandchildren, while the working class, who are only there to quickly pick up some work prints, have to wait for me.

What is the point of click and collect when would have been quicker to just buy the items and wait in line

Ordered a printer which I was told was in their warehouse and would be in by the end of the week. More than a month later I am still waiting for it to arrive.
