Ocean Health Clinic AKA Palm Cove Doctor

Fabulous care and service during and after my Bells Palsy diagnosis which happened the day we arrived in Palm Cove. Very grateful for the support from doctor and staff.

By far the best health clinic in FNQ! I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Macleod. Her thorough and attentive service ensures all patient needs are met. Dr. Macleod goes beyond the role of a doctor, genuinely caring about health and well-being of her patients. I left confident that every concern was addressed, making her practice more than just a medical visit—it's a holistic and caring experience.

Dr MacLeod & all at Ocean Health are incredibly professional, caring, thorough and knowledgeable.

Amazing service! Was on holidays and needed to see a GP. Put a request in online early in the morning, was contacted before opening time and was able to see the doctor first up. Felt very comfortable; doctor was caring and knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Called directly several days later with test results and offered follow up services. Can’t recommend this practice enough! Thank you

Sadly this clinic has no regard for patients or their time.
Booked an appointment for Botox treatment which the clinic then cancelled just 3 hours prior to the appointment. Will take my business elsewhere.

Rude and dismissive. We asked for urgent medical attention and were met with a dismissive attitude. Like we had interrupted your precious morning tea time. For a medical centre, the only one in the area, it’s disgraceful to just turn people away and not even offer any help. Basic customer service and care would have been appreciated. You’re supposed to be helping people, not pushing them out the door.

If your in need of a doctor definitely don’t go past the team at Ocean Health. Dr Caroline and her staff are the absolute best in there profession very friendly and helpful, I’m very sad to be leaving the area and having to find a new Doctor. Thankyou for all your help. ️

I had to see Dr McLeod for a suspected DVT/leg muscle issue. She was very candid with her diagnosis and feedback on my existing meds. Arranged for an immediate Ultrasound to ensure no DVT. I have no hesitation in recommending her if you need medical assistance in Palm Cove.

Doctor Caroline is discriminatory and unprofessional. Cancels appointments on will. No old fashioned values AT ALL. Discgraceful… she called me 4 mins before my appointment as I am waiting outside to be told she would only do a phone appointment because I was unvaccinated…

As a so called doctor you should look at your oath. ^Do no harm^
Your licence should be investigated if you have one to practice or not from how you speak to and treat or lack of treatment for your patients.
Only in the game for money.

Horrible doctor I called up to make an appointment and she's requiring people to be vaccinated absolutely disgusting How unknowledgeable as a doctor is this person. Come to think of it, since that's the case. I'm definitely staying away from her in finding some other general practitioner

Agree with Leah.fantastic service from Dr McLeod and Michelle, personable, thorough and untra conscientious. Haven't had better service from a GP in recent memory.
Plus fully understand Dr's approach to those absurd people who are still unvaccinate!

Dr Caroline is by far the best GP known to me. She's very knowledgeable, thorough and doesn't give up until she fixes the problem. She's doesn't treat patients like "patients" she sees them as humans and you can see it by the way her gentle side comes out. I highly recommend anyone trying to find a GP who truly sees them.

I have had a very positive experience on two occasions. Dr Caroline was very thorough and i felt that all of my issues were addressed before exiting the building. I felt very comfortable interacting with the doctor and expressing my concerns.

I highly recommend Dr MacLeod from the Ocean Health / Palm Cove Clinic. I had an ear infection and needed to see the Dr. Dr MacLeod and her staff were more professional, friendly and helpful. After very quickly diagnosing my infection, she sent me off with a script, medical advice and reassurance.

In the unfortunate event you require a visit to the Dr, I highly recommend Dr MacLeod and her practice.

Got an ear blockage, got seen within hours and had the ear canal cleaned and the blockage removed painlessly. Really great service from a highly experienced medic who also cares for the patient holistically. Thank you Caroline.
