This is great dance school for adults of all ages, levels of skill and experience. You can take up any style that you have ever dreamed of and have heaps of fun without any pressure what so ever, yet support and encouragement to help develop your skills. And you don't have to dance with teenagers.
For kids it is great if you want all the positives of a dance school but again without the pressure and negatives that can sometimes come with dance schools.
It is definitely somewhere for the whole family to learn to dance, myself and both my kids (boy and girl) have and currently dance there and wouldn't go anywhere else.

The most inclusive Dance Studio Ipswich has to offer. With such a professional approach to teaching and show organisation. I am so proud to be a memeber of NY Dance.

NY Dance is an amazing dance school with lovely and supportive teachers and staff! Natalie always makes it a point to get to know the students and their families. There is always a warm and welcoming feeling in the studio! I love that as parents, we are able to view our children’s classes on the viewing screens at the front of the studio! Could not recommend NY Dance enough!

Natalie is a wonderful female role model, and my fabulous teacher of tap technique, rhythm, dance language and discipline of tap dance form. Together with her group of dedicated teachers NY Dance provides an inclusive, caring and also energetic space to explore many forms of dance. An inspiring, professional and organized dance studio that teaches achieving success in your dance class, leads to success for all those who participate. NY Dance motivates tiny tots, young girls and boys, teenagers, and adults of ages to become better dancers and truly explore and appreciate the dance form, but above all it instills in us to have fun.

I really wanted to improve my dancing skills but with my busy schedule, I don’t have the time to compete in eisteddfods or anything like that. A friend told me about NY Dance and how they only perform at an end of year event. I knew this dance company would be perfect for me and I was right! The dance teachers are so friendly and always willing to help me if I am struggling with moves. When I arrive for my adult classes, I see so many children leaving their classes with a smile on their face. I would definitely recommend NY Dance to anyone who loves to dance without any added pressure.

All staff here are always approachable and helpful. NY dance has given my daughter so much confidence in such a short time. From a shy hidden away girl to a happy, confident and will now give anything a go girl. So extremely happy to have my daughter at this dance studio. My daughter loves it here. I've danced with Natalie on and off over many years, joining NY Dance adult classes in 2012. After a few years off, I rejoined NY Dance adult classes in 2017 at the Raceview studio. While the music has changed over the years, Natalie has not. Her passion and enthusiasm for dance and her students (no matter what age) is inspiring. If you want to send your daughters and sons to a dance school that has a caring, nurturing and respectful environment, NY Dance is the studio. If you want your children to be a part of a dance studio that encourages a love of dance and music in a non-competitive atmosphere NY Dance is the studio. My daughter started this year and is so happy with her class. The NY dance team was very helpful and are always there to answer any questions. It was exactly what I was looking for. She was so happy to participate in the Dr Seussical this year.

My daughter has danced here for over 5 years now. Initially, started with ballet and fell in love so much with NY Dance that she also took up tap, jazz, contemporary and acro. Concert time is a highlight as she loves the costumes, wearing make-up and performing on stage.

Such a fantastic place. Staff are amazing, friendly and patient. My daughter loves to go to dance classes with Miss Penny. She leaves every class with a big smile on her face. Couldn't ask for more than that.

Our daughter joined NY Dance over 4 yrs ago. Its been Fannnntastic! Miss Natalie, Jocelyn and Miss Penny have been very supportive and approachable and ALL the crew at NY are AMAZZZING! Our daughter loves her classes and Concert time is her favourite, costume, hair and makeup and most of ALL. FUN!
