This is a wonderful inclusive dance school for all. After seeing the wonderful environment both myself and my son who has a disability joined. The young ladies who help with the younger classes are super great with our kids and so so respectful. I love being apart of such a lovely dance school. I had never danced before and everyone was and still is so welcoming ️

My granddaughter is 2 and there wasn’t a lot of things to do with a 2 year old so l decided to call a few of the dance studio’s around the ipswich area ny dance was without a doubt the most helpful so we decided to go and try it out and we loved it. I booked her I and we now go every Saturday morning everyone is amazing and friendly I would definitely recommend NY Dance

NY Dance is a great dance studio for those looking for a no stress dance school to join. All teaching staff are friendly and competent in a wide variety of dance styles. Classes are relaxed and fun. Class fees are easy to pay with the new direct-deposit payment system. I definitely recommend NY Dance to anyone and everyone who wants to have fun while learning to dance.

This is our 5th year with NY Dance. Two of my little girls attend lessons with the lovely Miss Nat, with my third baby girl starting classes next year. I can't express enough enthusiasm for the terrific staff and the dance programs run by NY Dance. This is more than 'just another dance studio' - they are a wonderful community who genuinely care about each of their students. 5 stars just isn't enough!

NY Dance has been the best decision we could have made for our daughter. When she was 5, she begged me to dance but, as an ex-ballet kid myself, I was apprehensive because of the massive time commitment, pressure to be perfect and expectation to be thin I had experienced and I didn’t want that for my child. However, I stumbled across NY Dance on the internet with the “no exams, no eisteddfods, just fun” tag and I was convinced that we should give it a try and I’m so glad we did.

My child has blossomed in this environment with the focus upon fun, fitness and inclusion. The yearly concerts are such a celebration of joy with people of all ages, all abilities and all shapes performing together with the vocal support of their loved ones booming from the audience. I especially love seeing some of the older members of the NY family fulfilling their dreams of dancing after they have raised their families and hearing those adult children cheer them on. It really is a place where everyone works together to be the best they can be, and where my child feels as though she has a second family.

Beyond the emotional support, it is a great venue to hone one’s fitness and try new performance styles. Recently, my daughter added Musical Theatre to her dance lesson schedule and, it is safe to say, she’s in love with this class. Also, she has been given the opportunity to try achieve her bronze tap medal, but this is her first exam after 7 years of dancing and will be undertaken in a group setting. Natalie, the principal, only included these exams after some of the older students indicated that they, too, would like to be dance teachers. Again, just joy and encouragement with no pressure. I’m so glad we tried NY Dance.
