Myer Carindale reviews
43Was looking for an item for my daughter for Christmas, I was in dismay as I couldn’t find what I was after. Fortunately a lovely employee came to help and swiftly found what I was after. Thank you Mahin, have a wonderful new year
Clearly some departments have too many people and others not enough. Perfume is overpriced and always end up getting them from Chemist Warehouse.
I was served by a lovely lady today named Altynay (name on the receipt). She was friendly, her service impeccable, and when I made my purchase, she wrapped it in a cute little package with a spot for the receipt! Such a cute little gesture rather than having a plastic bag. It made my day!
I'd like to leave this review especially for Phyllis in the Perfume section! I loved how real & honest she is & how she treated my mum & I like absolute stars! Thank you Phyllis for your First-Class treatment!
Great experience! I would like to acknowledge Samee in homeware. On Saturday he was extremely helpful with the appliances. He went out of his way to help me find what I was looking for and was professional and polite. Thank you Samee.
Don't choose click and collect unless you want to be served by a middle aged man in a bad suit who acts like he works at Versace. Probably the rudest human I have encountered, no smile, looked me up at down, held out my order as far away from him as possible as if to say I'm dirty. My order basically cost more than this whole cheap suit and this is how I got treated as a valued customer
Met some amazing personalities yesterday at Myer Carindale. I wish them all the best for future endeavours. Very professional and best customer service I have ever come across from Myer.
Ravi: Men’s Section at Myer Carindale, very professional, excellent customer service & advise. He was extremely helpful and best person I came across.
Shirney: Fragnance Section, perfumes Department.
She is very happy, friendly, best customer service representative and very professional. I met her second time & she is very lovely lady.
Great Experience @ Myer Carindale.
Lady there was very helpful and let me know about their 2 kitchen items for 30% off. Saved me $30. I haven't been to myer for a long time but she was so helpful, I will endeavour to shop here again.
Organised a click and collect and it was waiting for me, packed in a reusable bag. Saw Santa as an extra bonus. Pleasant store to shop.
Normally a great place to shop! I have no idea what has happened recently but I went to buy a pair of Windsor Smith shoes last week and the assistant treated me like i was going to run off with them.
At first i had to prove my own shoes were mine (i was buying the same brand), then the assistant hovered VERY closely when I was trying the new pair on, and if they weren't on my feet they were in her hands. Finally when I claimed I was going to purchase the ones i was trying on, they were quickly snapped up by the assistant, taken to the register and she waited there for me, staring at me. Absolutely no room for browsing.
The section was quiet too, so it wasn't like she had to rush to another customer.
Afterwards I went down to the homeware department and the staff there were lovely as usual.:)
Accessible, would prefer seeing more people logging in, courteous staff, helpful, some discount signage confusing. Overall good experience.
The usual Myer experience can be had here. Good range of clothing and fashion for men and women. Store is laid out well over various levels
As if Myer shouldn't know they have a problem! One would think that staff training and motivation should b top of their list.there were 3 of us waiting with arms full of purchases while the THREE counter ass8stants laughed and chatted.when finally we were served the girl actually held off finalizing our sale while she finished an apparently vital conversation.my first time into a Myer store in ages.and probably my last.
This week I ordered a smart watch from online. It was shipped to me very fast, however unfortunately it did not work upon arrival. I checked stock online and it said Carindale had one. I rang and spoke to Chris who set one aside for me. From phone service to instore service - Chris did an impeccable job. His customer service was warm and welcoming. He went above and beyond for me. It was some of the best service I have received in recent years. Well done Chris.
Unfortunately the watch was a batch issue and we were unable to find a replacement however he promptly offered me an exchange or refund. Although this transaction didn't end the way I wanted (walking away with a new watch) I felt secure in the knowledge that Chris had done everything possible to try come to a positive solution for me.
It's nice to go back to a Myer/shop that has many things in the one place. And the staff were really nice to me when I last went in.
Carindale is a lovely shopping centre. I loved hpw easily accessible the carpark was to the shops. A travellstor instead of a slow pscked lift made a huge diffetance.
Normally a good experience but had to return a faulty appliance and I felt like I've done something wrong. Long delay while they waited to be told by the machine (computer) what they could do.
I was shopping with two of my friends and this salty security lady was following us around and walking less and a metre behind us as we where browsing the store.i was just sitting down on the ground because i felt sick and i needed a break, and then she just walked up to us and told us we weren’t allowed to be just in the store without buying anything.so we just continued to walk around and when we asked her to stop following us she responded very rudely and continued stalk us and even called the store manager.i am very disgusted with this unprofessional behaviour and attitude this Myer security girl responded with.
It has been years since I had a successful shopping trip. So entering Myers with a list so long it really didn't need a list I wasn't hopeful of finding more than two items. Ooooeeee. I found so many clothes, it was a struggle to carry them to the fitting room.
I can understand why the garment restriction might be in place but really when it's that busy that you have to leave clothes outside, come out, drop off and go back in, then have the clothes you wanted have been put in the pile for return.surely there's got to be a better system, also that's less stressful to the staff.
Then i met on of the girls from Veronika Maine, Sara. She was so incredibly helpful, she put aside my definites and maybes for me whilst i kept shopping, offered suggestions and.solutions. Checked on me and was so incredibly genuine. I felt like i had a personal shopper (she also was very helpful to others as well). I'll be calling the store as well but apart from the range and styles finally being things I'd wear, Sara made the experience 5 stars.
Lots of new stores and feels alot more upmarket. David Jones renovation is finished and feels very classy with lots of designer brands. Plenty of food options as well as cinemas, kids play area, gym, doctors and grocery stores. Great one stop shop and plenty of sales year round. Parking is free for first 3 hours.
