We decided to visit the gorge on the way to Cape Tribulation and ended up spending a lot more time here than we had planned to. The swimming holes here are pristine and very refreshing after doing the walk through the rainforest. It is worth allowing at least half a day to take in the rainforest and have a dip to cool off afterwards. The site is susceptible to the weather meaning if visiting during the wet season, it may not be safe to swim as it can change the condition of the streams within the park dramatically in a very short time and with little warning - keep an eye on the weather.

Beautiful clear water and picturess photos of the area. Lovely to see the falls leading down to the gauge and the rainforest walk is pretty special.

We had a really great time, it’s one of the spots that you should not miss.we visited in the morning as part of our day trip to the Daintree and after a great day out I would recommend that you start here and spend plenty of time as it was the highlight of our day.

Pretty little place to look around before jumping on the bus to get to Mossman Gorge. Just wish the people at the counters were a little bit nicer, the interactions felt a bit abrupt and cold (could’ve just been having a bad day). Still enjoyed our time here and will return given the chance.

Visited twice in winter, once in rain and flood, a week later when the river was gentler and clear. Ennoyed both visits. The longer loop walk thru the rainforest was a highlight of our trip north

Really enjoyed our visit here. The shuttle bus is efficient. The walks are lovely and the gorge is simply beautiful. The Cafe serves lovely food and coffee.

Biggest scam tourist trap. Expensive 2km bus ride to the falls. Babinda Boulders and Josephine falls are a million times better then this

Wonderfully presented tourist attraction. The track is the best presented trail I have ever seen, making it easily accessible for everyone.

What a great experience not to be missed, make sure you take your bathers as several good spots for swimming.

We arrived at Mossman Gorge early to beat the crowds, definitely worth it if you can. We were greeted by Benjamin at the door who neatly explained the bus fare and walks/swimming holes at the gorge. Tickets were $12 each, essential in order to respect the Aboriginal community’s wishes as to not be walking through. The gorge was spectacular! No swimming for us but definitely enjoyed reading by the water and the information plaques in the rainforest. Shame that the main lookout was closed. Still, a must-do in the area.

Spectacular! Best $12.65 you can spend on Cairns. Super relaxing not trying to get a park like the old days. Excellent boardwalk for those with low mobility or you can go off-road for 2km circuit track with a quieter creek to swim in. Great cafe with excellent prices. Aboriginal giftware - competitive prices!

The gorge is great to visit but getting there and back on the bus is a big hassle if you are disabled, the service bus just ignores you in favour of normal people.i got left behind twice and it took me about 3 quarter of an hour until the driver finely took me back he just didn't care about any disabled people.very sad and insulting. His attitude was O well that is what it is and who cares

Great bus service to the top, easy 3 km loop for more keen walkers when at the top. Great spot for a swim - make sure you are a confident swimmer pending the weather.

Such a cool centre and worth a visit on the way to the gorge. We were lucky enough to be welcomed in a 'welcome to country' smoke ceremony which was very cool.
The man who performed the ceremony taught us some great stuff about his people and all the food, medicine and tools that they could get from the rainforest.
