Mossman Gorge Centre reviews
69 Was a great walk into the Mossman gorge.
A lot of people there walking as well.
There is a good cafe to rest up after the walk and very friendly and helpful staff.
Beautiful walking track and swimming hole.
Shuttle bus runs every 15 mins to and from gorge.
Amazing place… so beautiful, understandably commercialised to try and control the massive crowds but great job
You have to go into the centre to buy tickets so we had a coffee as it was raining heavily. 1 girl only taking orders/money and then making. Just not good enough with a line out the door. The Gorge was fantastic with the rain
This place is great and we started our day here with a traditional smoke ceremony.
Plenty of food and gift options within the centre also! Friendly and helpful staff
Easy to find. Well marked track to self tour. Well maintained. Great shuttle service. Beautiful photo opportunities
Why would you pay almost 13$ for a 2kms bus ride? Go in another gorge in the area and avoid this tourist trap!
There was beautiful rainforest that was showed to us by Aboriginal Australians. They let you paint your arms with traditional clay and told us about tribe passports. It is a very educational and fun experience.
Great experience to swim in the moist picturesque and fresh water ever! Cafe has some crazy pricing though but an absolutely fantastic bucket list experience!
Well organised visitor centre with regular bus to gorge area. Walkways good, steps sometimes with handrails. Water cold. Absolutely beautiful place to visit.
Absolutely stunning. You will need to pay for the $12 shuttle bus to take you up to the gorge. It is sooooo worth it. Be aware that some days swimming is not recommended when the current is string due to rain fall. Did see some people choosing to swim despite this information. There is a lovely 2 km circuit walk.
Beautiful place.cool boulders.natural spring water.we had heaps of fun.for a proficient swimmer there are plenty of sliding rocks with strong under currents. Not suitable for children without supervision. Potential for a lot of cozy hideaways for romantic couples.
Unable to swim due to weather however, it would be worth going when possible. Great walking trails.
Gorgeous scenery, definitely worth a visit. Most of the walks are about 10 minutes long, so not too long for young children. There is a longer walk if you prefer (about 1 an a half hours). There is an area you can swim in but you need to be careful paying attention to the signs as there can be under currents in the water. My husband and 10 year old daughter went in and just stayed near the edge. They both loved it. There were quite a few people swimming in there even though the warning sign was out.
Another great showcase example of what the far north of Queensland offers.
Great job guys, our crew of 31 from KYF thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Damper tastes a lot like scones with jam and cream but that's not a bad thing in such a beautiful setting. Sit out on the deck and enjoy the view.
This company just gated off the road to a national (public owned) park & charge everybody a shuttle fee to get there. Not cool and will not pay up or recommend to anybody out of principle. Plenty of rainforests and free gorges in QLD to see. Highly recommend seeing Carnarvon Gorge, absolutely breathtaking and FREE
It was great, the young aboriginal guide, showed us what you could eat in the bush we had a lovely time.thank you Shirley
We had Ben as our tour guide and whilst he was still learning the ropes he gave us a great guided tour and explained the ways of the forest and his people. Would definitely love to go again and hear more of the many stories.
