I have my two Sons enrolled and they love it. They are both more focused and confident and are learning new skills and valuable life lessons by wonderful instructors.
Mr D is firm but fun and encourages every child to do their best. Cannot recommend them enough.

My son loves his Kinder Matts class at Kawana! He never wants to leave at the end! It’s such a great program to teach kids some really important life skills. Mrs Sawdy is very patient and so good with the children even when they lose focus easily like my son does. We are looking forward to continuing on through the program and moving up to Mighty Matts eventually. Would definitely recommend for pre-school aged children!

My 6 year old daughter started With Matt Fiddes Martial Arts a couple of months ago and she absolutely loves it! She has gained so much confidence. She loves going to class. She loves it so much that I have joined as well! We are thoroughly enjoying it! We go to the Wynnum West class run by team Carindale. The instructors are wonderful! Caring but also tough! Just the right mix!

Thank you will never be enough for the dedication, love, trust and respect that our MF family have shown my two children! My oldest is so focused on training and this is now reflected in all aspects of life learnings; both at home and school! He recently came away with a silver medal in competition, and his dedication to his MF journey grew even deeper. Matt Fiddes has been an excellent platform for my son to learn martial arts and improve his skills consistently. We highly recommend MF Martial Arts Gold Coast with Kalindi & Reon. They have been very supportive and their love and passion for the sport shows every time you walk in the door.our three boys started two years ago and they love it. Our son joined Mighty Matts (the Matt Fiddes programme for 4-7 year olds) two years ago. In that time we have seen him grow significantly in self confidence, self discipline and self respect.

The programme is distinguishable from many of its competitors because not only does it teach martial arts, but also stranger danger, discipline, self defence and a love of fitness,

Mr Donaldson (and his team) is a fantastic teacher who has a really fantastic relationship with all of the children. I have never seen anyone control a group of 4-7 year olds better. In fact, we often joke he must be the male version of Mary Poppins.

MMA Matt Fiddes has provided my daughter Anabelle who has Autism Spectrum Disorder, the opportunity to celebrate being in a group of children and feeling a part of something given the socio-emotional support a child needs to meeting milestones in her emotional development, within psychosocial development. In my experience in raising a child on the spectrum, this certainly improved my daughter’s quality of life in opening her up to quality interaction with children. As well, this MMA opportunity for Anabelle has improved her self confidence and has provided assistance with her learning and applying self control and self discipline within life, in making her more self aware of her bouts with meltdowns and outbursts which can be debilitating at times. Being able to utilise Ana’s application of values taught at Matt Fiddes in her daily life, means that as a father I can continue to keep Ana more on task in her daily activities to helping her understanding the importance of being accountable to her commitments within her life at home, in school, and other extracurricular activities outside school she is involved in. To add, this MMA training has improved Anabelle’s hand and eye coordination, gross motor skills, balance, self awareness, muscle tonality, and gifted her an element of knowing she matters, by instilling a sense of confidence of knowing she is a young lady on the spectrum, yet still having the capacity for success of already reaching orange belt, since she chose this martial arts training regime. I am extremely grateful for Ana having this chance in her life to experience MMA, as these are skills she will carry with her for a lifetime, as she continues to break the mould of what it means to have ASD with challenging herself with every step she makes towards improving her daily life. She has become our little warrior breaking down the stereotypes for what it means to be a young person living with Autism. Words cannot describe how much I appreciate as a father the level of improvements MMA Matt Fiddes has impacted my daughter Anabelle’s life in changing the trajectory of where she is headed into her future as she enters secondary school. A huge Kudos and Bravo Zulu, Reon and Kalindi, her Matt Fiddes MMA instructors as being a credit to the profession of martial arts and making a massive difference for the better in a young lady’s life with Autism.

Both my sons attend weekly martial arts classes in Peregian Springs, this is by far the best activity that they have done over the years. They absolutely LOVE their weekly classes & the gradings are an extra bonus! I could not recommended Matt Fiddes PS enough, an amazing friendly team always willing to go the extra mile to make the boys feel included!
