Little Gems Child Care & Early Learning Centre

My daughter has been attending Little Gems since she was 1 year old. From day one her experience there has been seamless. She has been welcomed with open arms, cared for and her learning extended daily. Little Gems are flexible in their approach with working families and understand the pressures of balancing both work and child care needs. All the educators are so caring, helpful and friendly, they do really look out for each individual child! We recommend time and time again!

This little centre is exactly what it’s called A Little Gem, when dropping off in the morning we are always met with smiley faces and good mornings. My son has been at the centre for over 3 years now so it’s now a part of his and my family. Looking through the journal everyday always makes me feel happy and content knowing he is having so much fun while expanding his learning.

Please do not send your child here. The staff are rude and completely ignore you on drop off and pick up. There is never any adequate supervision in the mornings. When raising concerns about child safety, the manager immediately goes on the defensive and is more than happy to blame the parents. Rather than effectively trying to resolve the situation, points out everything wrong with you as a parent for expecting an educator to be available for child handover and update in the morning.
Also, if your child has allergies, I was given completely the wrong advice over what could be sent for my child’s breakfast, and hence was unknowingly putting another child at risk until another educator informed me.
If they don’t manage to remove my review or have an excuse as to why we are making a bad review, please think very carefully before sending your child here.

I remember little gems was the second daycare I walked into and the last. Now my girl is almost in her last year there. The experience has been nothing but utterly amazing. The friendships she has made, the confidence she has built. The knowledge she has gained. The teachers are amazing. Hands down best daycare on the GC and will be so sad when the time comes to say bye

This is an amazing centre! Staff are super friendly! The centre is always clean and tidy. Both my kids love their time at kindy, they have an amazing yard to play in with so much space for everyone! I definitely recommend this centre!

Our daughter has been at Little Gems since 2018, she is about to graduate kindy. We have experienced three different centres since my daughter was 9 months. Little Gems Helensvale is by far the best we have experienced. Kellie and her team go above and beyond. Educators are there because they love kids. A few educators have come and gone and I believe this is because they simply are not suited to the job and Little Gems recognises this. My daughter adores Ms Meika, Ms Selena and Ms Amber. It is going to be a sad day come January to say goodbye. It's been a tough year with COVID but LG always showed compassion and a common sense approach. Great family owned Centre.

I could not reccommend Little Gems Helensvale enough. My son has been comfortable and happy attending since our first visit. He learns so much everyday and looks forward to seeing his friends and the wonderful staff who really give me peace of mind my son is getting the best possible care.

My son has been attending Little Gems for a couple of years now and I can honestly say that Kellie and her amazing team made the transition from having my son home with me to sending him to day care so easy. He absolutely loves going to the centre. He loves all of his friends and the educators are second to none. The centre is always clean, they decorate for the holidays which excites my boy so much and they are just so warm and welcoming. We have our last year at the centre next year and it will be so sad to say goodbye to everyone. I can not recommend sending your child there highly enough.

Amazing childcare centre that offers consistency in care and great resources. Both of my children have been attending for 2 years and they have been so happy to go each day. They have formed strong friendships and bonds with their educators and as a parent it offers everything you need ie meals, nappies, extra curricular activities.

I enrolled my 18month old in there and they have helped him settle in as much as he allows them to. I love being able to get daily photos and updates when he is there, along with weekly updates about the centre in general, and quick informative emails should there be an illness breakout.

Lovely staff who are very accommodating to both parents and children. Facilities are excellent and they are always doing fun activities with the kids.

My little bloke has been going here, can't speak highly enough of the staff and the facility.enjoys his time there making friends and learning so much. Highly recommended!

Hands down the best kindy out there! I did alot of research before settling on one and we don't regret it for a second! They made our son's transition to daycare super easy and super positive. Also when he had a major surgery, they were all so supportive and accommodating to us. He has been there a little over a year now and loves every moment he spends there. All the teacher's make a point to get to know every child, their personality and needs individually. We can't wait for the next few years with Little Gems. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a daycare who genuinely cares about your child. We are very pleased with little gems. Our 18 month old and 3.5yo attend the centre and the carers are so lovely. Highly recommend.

Little Gems Helensvale has become a treasured extension of our own family.
Our daughter currently attends here (as did our eldest son before her), and watching her learn, grow and be loved by her educators is the most beautiful thing to witness as a parent.
She cannot leave for the day without seeking out a hug from "My Miss Nikki" and her "My Miss Mieka" which demonstrates the trust and security she feels with this team.
The learning programs incredibly thoughtful and well executed, but its the personal one-on-one relationships this centre fosters that make them truly special.
Miss Kellie the Centre Director is not only highly organised and always available, but will gladly wrap you in a hug if you need one.
I cherish what our family has been given thanks to this wonderful group of people. I cannot wait to have our third child begin next year. Once you're a part of this family you'll never let them go x
