Little Gems Child Care & Early Learning Centre

My little daughter loves it at Little Gems! The introduction and orientation was amazing, and i loved that we were welcome to do as many play and stays as we liked before starting which ensured my daughter was comfortable by the time she was ready to move to Little Gems from another service.

My daughter has picked up so much more in all areas of learning with the most noticeable being, Academics and Toilet Training. There is so much for them to do and learn everyday and extra services brought in for even more fun, exercise and learning.

I was surprised with how quick, efficient & supportive they are with help for children that need extra support, in whatever area they need support in.

Each morning I drop my daughter off to her educators who are super friendly and helpful and every afternoon I pick her up with huge smiles and stories about the day. I’m so happy we get to be apart of the Little Gems family and would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Little gems is a wonderful kindy. All the educators are kind and easy to get along with. My son loves going here, I would highly recommend.

Here’s a review from a Dads perspective. It took me a while to find this daycare centre and oh boy am I glad I did! I have both my kids here from a young age and here’s 10 reasons why a chose this school over others. 1) Most important it’s safe and you need a code to get into the premises. And an individual code to sign kids in and out on pickup and drop off. There is CCTV everywhere. 2) it’s not on a main road and passers by can’t see your kids playing or come up to them and talk to them off the street so low risk for accidents or kid napping. 3) The daycare centre is by far the cleanest and nicest smelling I’ve been to. Even the kids are cleaner at this daycare than most. I think that’s because the teachers change nappies often and wipe snotty noses and dirty faces often to. 4) Most teachers know my children by name and greet us every morning. 5) the syllabus is great and I know my child is learning something as I often get an update from my child on pick up what they did that day and how fun it was. I also get a daily update and photos on a secure app of what my kids have learnt and what they have been up to for the day. I’m FIFO so this means the world to me to still be up to date on what’s happened in their little world each day when I’m not there for pick up. 6) Healthy Food is provided by the centre and included in the fee. So many daycare centres don’t do this or want extra for this service. 7) The staff and management are really approachable and address any parent concerns I may have quickly. 8) the playground and class rooms are always neat and tidy and there is a big outdoor area for kids to play. 9) class rooms are ranked by age so bigger kids are separated from smaller babies. 10) you can grab a free coffee from reception when you rushing out to work after early morning drop off. This centre really makes you feel like you’re family. It ticked all my boxes of concern as a parent and I haven’t had any issues over the past 2 and a half years that my kids have been going there. Would highly recommend!

My little man started a few weeks ago and he loves it. Screams like crazy when I drop him off but the staff are really great with him. He then screams when I pick him up because he doesn't want to leave. Transitioning from another daycare to Little Gems has been so easy and smooth. Couldn't speak more highly of them.

My son started at Little Gems Helensvale in January this year and has settled in really well. He is learning so many new skills every week. He loves seeing all his friends and teachers. We feel really welcome and all the teachers are always happy and helpful.

Absolutely love this daycare and all the staff. Everyone is friendly and always greets us, which has now taught our 17 month old to say hello and bye to everyone. He is so happy when we arrive in the mornings and is excited to see the educators. He especially loves his room staff Nikki & Madilyn.

Little Gems made the transition into Kindy for my girls such a breeze! Thank you for your support and constant updates on how my girls are progressing. Such a great vibe and atmosphere!

Little Gems has been fantastic with both of our little boys - they love the amount of space to play, and the educators are all amazing and so caring and empathetic! The kids are developing so much, and this is definitely contributed to by the amazing team here!

Helensvale Little Gems! What a loving, encouraging and safe centre! My daughter started 1.5yrs ago with the lovely Miss Nikki! Who I am so grateful for, Miss Kellie and Miss Nicole set the precedence as you walk through the doors and their values and standards are echoed throughout the centre, every educator greets you and acknowledges your arrival making you feel welcome and gives you a sense of family. I leave the centre knowing my little munchkin is well take care of and most importantly safe. I can’t thank you guys enough for the work that you do! Would highly recommend! And a special shout out to this years rockstars Miss Jayde, Miss Hannah and Miss Kelly THANK YOU!

Absolutely love the centre! Wonderful, supportive staff and they have been so welcoming to my family and myself. My son is thriving since starting at Little Gems. They learn something new every week and about different cultures.

Little Gems, Helensvale, is such a great Child Care Centre. I find all of the staff to be really caring and attentive to the children, whilst being professional and focused on early learning. The centre is well maintained and organised. Both my children who have/do attend the centre have made really strong connections with their educators and feel happy and comfortable to spend their days there. I would definitely recommend this centre.

Fantastic environment for little ones! Staff are all friendly, caring and conscientious and my boy comes home everyday happy and thriving. I also really appreciate the communication and time the team takes to update me on his progress in class. Couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Little Gems have been nothing but amazing! They have truly exceeded our expectations. Both my son and daughter have just started here this will be their third week and already I am super impressed. Always greeted with a warm welcome, I love all of the educators and the fact that they can memorise THAT many kids names is beyond me haha! They are always so helpful on drop off when my little one has a rough morning their arms are always open for a comforting cuddle. Which I appreciate! It makes me more comfortable knowing their feelings are being acknowledged and that it’s okay to feel upset that they are always there when in need. I don’t even have to stress during the day because their whole day including feeds, naps and what they did is uploaded and accessible for myself to look through! My biggest thing when looking for a daycare for my little ones was culture, so I’m happy to say that I am ecstatic and overwhelmed with how knowledgeable and how much respect Miss Nikki and the rest of the educators have towards our Aboriginal Culture. To know that my kids will be learning a ton about their culture everyday warms my heart. So Thankyou little gems I can’t wait to see how my kids progress all the way up until they have to go to big school.

Little Gems Helensvale has been a god sent to our little family.
I have always felt so comfortable leaving my littlest girl in their care.
The hellos, goodbyes, cuddles & snuggles by all the staff towards my girl is truly so special. Every educator knows her name and keeps any eye on all children so I know she is safe at all times.

I’m so happy to have chosen to be part of the Little Gems family and would recommend to anyone!

We have been part of the Little Gems family since 2019. I cannot imagine a more beautiful, supportive, loving and safe learning and play environment for my kids. The educators really take the time to get to know the children and demonstrate genuine care and consideration for them all as individuals. There is no better child care centre on the Gold Coast.
