Limberlost Garden Centre reviews
69Had dealings with a gentleman by the name of John in the raw materials department at Limberlost and his customer service was exceptional. I called for a quote for mulch and he took the time to explain the different types and when I later asked specific questions, he took the time to explain. I 100% recommend these guys for your raw materials.
Another beautiful day eating yummy food. Great atmosphere even though it looked like it was going to rain.
What a beautiful place for breakfast:)
It was a busy Sunday, and there were many seats, however I suggested if you could make a booking that would be perfect:)
The food was fabulous, so the drinks are. Some of them with their herbs
After finishing my meal, I could hang around inside and enjoy the garden view:)
So pity I live in Melbourne, otherwise, I will come every Sunday! Well done team
Experience for the whole family; breakfast to lunch and beautiful plants.arranged magnificently and lovely garden out the front. Staff member Neil is a walking encyclopaedia to help with planting and landscaping ideas.won't be disappointed.
Coffee in the Nursery, great experience. Well shaded and good place to escape. Ferns, palms, herbs and flowers it has it all.
Specialty garden store with a great selection of fruit trees, items seem to carry a premium price tag
This place is a sight to set your eyes on and should definitely be on your 'places to visit' list.
Limberlost is a one-stop shop for all your garden needs and prides itself on being a locally produced garden centre.
To top it off, Limberlost has a cafe that provides quality food and beverages. The staff here are very friendly and accommodating, and they have an array of knowledge when it comes to plants.
So if you're after a new plant to take home, graden equipments or just looking to sit down in a graden and have a coffee or meal, this is it.
You're sure to get lost in the tranquillity of nature this place provides.
Great fare. Great staff. Great nursery for plants. Expensive plants but staff give great advice.
Plants are healthy and well established! Our plants at office is flourishing! Thank you guys.
Absolutely terrible service in CAFE. Live in the area and frequent the nursery with nothing but amazing, friendly service. EVERY single time I take my daughters to the cafe, we are met by an extremely rude and unhappy cashier who makes the whole experience awful! I even got abused on our last visit by her as I got up to look in the gift shop after ordering/waiting for my daughter to come along as she assumed I wanted takeaway (which I didn’t and hadn’t ordered) and went off at me like I was going to ruin their day if I had by chance changed my mind. Was not at all given an apology for the assumptions or the way I was yelled at over literally nothing. I 100% will never be going back! Considered making a complaint but going by all the reviews, the manager must not seem to care about the way their paying customers are being treated. Another reason I won’t return!
Been around 4-5 times since coming to Cairns. Good nursery. Cafe has bland coffee, variable food & awful service. Women taking the orders are curt, condescending & make you feel uncomfortable/unwelcome. Why support a small business when you feel like they're doing you a favour?
Today we went to the cafe there, it has plenty of seating outside either on the balcony or in amongst the gardens, all under cover, then they also have seating in air con.
There's a gorgeous little gift shop inside the cafe, and then gorgeous gifts and plants outside.
The food was so good, we went for lunch, but U can also have breakfast there, and if yr still hungry u can have a slice of one of their many desserts in the window. Or take it away for later on.
2 poached eggs 2 dry bits of bread with no butter and tough bacon that gave us indigestion. All for only $18. Not clever
Wide variety of plants plus all things to encourage them to thrive plus those gems to make your garden that bit more interesting with wind chimes and water features.
The staff are always friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of the local environment.
Visited again today, 23/8/2022, and am happy to report Limberlost have maintained their standards.
This is a fabulous locally owned nursery with a wide variety of well priced plants, seedlings & fruit trees. Also great to have a coffee at after restocking the garden (after my teenage son ringbarked the passionfruit vine with the whippersnipper).
I am so impressed. Very reasonable prices at the Cafe with generous portions and absolutely delicious food. Friendly service and no long wait for our yummy breakfast a great first experience here.
Beautiful cafe set in amongst the vines and ferns. Great food and lovely staff too. Highly recommend the Hibiscus Fruity Shrub Soda to drink.
Great place to find plants or just really anything garden related also with the cafe at the front entrance good place to pick up a quick cup of coffee or meet up with friends just plans for everywhere even a small cactus plant for your office desk.
Loads of lovely plants. Very Helpful staff, especially the young lady whom assisted us with choosing our plans and Niel at the check out he was awesome too.
This a great garden centre for choice of plants and helpful, knowledgeable staff. They are dog friendly as well. There's a wonderful cafe in the premises
