Kmart North Lakes

Gents, If you're waiting for the Mrs and want some mobile reception, stand near the checkouts, just outside of the queue. You're welcome.

Good bargains, but very long lines. If you have time it is good. Not good for quick shop. Big gymwear range (not label brands), big kids bike range, outdoor furniture.

Pathetic. Bought $400 worth of items, had two wheeling baskets due to no trolleys for the entire 45mins we were in there shopping. Went to walking out both mine and my partners hand and arms full of bags and the baskets full of the bulky items we purely could not carry, and instead of helping us out, the security guard and girl and the entrance made us take everything out, shoved it all in our faces for us to deal with and took the wheeling baskets. Not even offering to escort us to our car then take their baskets back if they were worried about them getting stolen. Not even offering to help us take everything to our car. Very disappointed and disgusted and the lack of help escpecially at the Christmas time.

Kmart is a great all rounder, however I find North Lakes has no where near the range that Chermside has. Ladies fashion never seems to stock the latest items (as per the website), larger men's sizes are never in stock either in store. The checkouts are tedious. I have never been served by a person as yet, only self-serve.

I just don't know. Maybe I was treated differently because I'm asian. I got checked my receipt, saw unsmiled face instead of hi or bye like others. Well without a reason. I even smiled to them. Haha

The checkout at all of the "modernised" stores are awful. You have to pay at the cash tills, in the middle of the store. Then after waiting in the same queue, to serve yourself or edge your bets and go to the cashier you have to wallk through the store, only to have the items checked again when exiting the store. What an utter waste of time and resources. It is as if you are checking out twice. Who comes up with such a silly layout. It was one of my favorite stores but I am now not so sure.

Clean store. Orderly layout. Fair size. Just another one with registers in centre of store. Sorry not a big supporter of pay in centre, prefer to pay on exit.

Each time I have been to this store the staff have been super helpful and happy to be there. Waiting times in line have been very quick (although they may look daunting at times). I had a great experience despite how busy they were, well done!

Nothing special about this particular store but bear in mind that you will have no phone coverage while you are shopping. (OPTUS customer)

I love Kmart but this store is always out of stock of so many items. I drive to Aspley or Caboolture more times than I go here purely because they don’t have the same stock issues. At first I put it down to being new and popular but it’s been here a while now and stock levels haven’t improved.

The store is always really busy with huge queues to check out which is okay because they move quick enough but I hate the layout as last time I shopped here I didn’t receive a receipt from the cashier for a very inexpensive item and then felt interrogated when I left due to the bag check on exit.

I would rate Aspley and Caboolture Kmarts a 5.

Comical really. The worst designed store I've ever encountered. Sympathise with the customers and staff that have to put up with this poorly thought out point of sale. Would go as far as to say the architect/s of this mess actually made a list of what would irritate customers the most, reduce profits and create agitation.and then implemented it. Will be using other Kmarts.

You can find most things at Kmart and at very affordable prices too. The store is kept well and is easy to navigate.
