Kmart North Lakes reviews
53 Had to go into Kmart today to customer service and I had to swap and change a few things with vouchers and after pay etc, wasn’t as straight forward but……Kurt I think his name was he is such a nice guy, super friendly and helpful and was a total pleasure to be served by.
I hope he sees this as I think people should feel good when they did something good
You phones all extensions have not been working for two days. They ring and ring. Tried pressing all selections to get anyone!
Had a good experience shopping, especially at the cash register, their employee (Billy) gave me a wonderful experience and was really helpful. 5/5 star mostly for billy
Does anyone ever answer the phone. I've been hearing it ring for half an hour now and you bet I'm gunna let it ring right up till 9pm or till someone answers. This is ridiculous especially because live tracking of your store says your not busy with customers.
Bought a pair of undies yesterday
Went to look at them today and there was period blood in them! I know it's not your fault but how was this missed
I put in 3 large orders just before Christmas and they managed to get them all done in one day for me, some things were missing but that’s understandable as they are very busy, incredible staff, thank you soo much!
Departments for Homewares and Family Entertainment and Service desk were not answering, waited for 7 mins to see if someone picked up. Decided to call back and chose Menswear and Clothing department and a lovely girl called Molly was very helpful and polite, was chasing a curtain rod - best customer service from her, other departments should take a hint from her…
They lack a decent size range in active wear. Unless you’re a 6,8,10 or 12 don’t bother shopping here.
Very terrible experience with the manger Liz! Spoke with a young lady by the name of Cassie & asked for a refund for a product that I had the recipe for. She was lovely & asked for the card I put it on. After going through a few cards I said I must don’t have that one. I lost my wallet a few days ago & didn’t even think about that card. She stated I could get a gift card but a manager would have to approve a refund due to rules changing about 8 months ago. I said that fine I’ll talk to the manager to see if we can work something out. Liz comes up & shoves the refund document that is stuck to the register at refunds in my face. Then says we told you the policy. I said now it’s not even just about the item but why are you speaking to me like this. So I said the young lady before just said she’ll give me a gift card I’ll take that & just speak with supervisors about the pour & rude service I’m getting. She said I don’t have time for someone like you & walked a few steps away. Then continued to speak loud & rude. A random lady next to me said just record her & send it to corporate or her boss. So I did! Then instead of calming down while recording she gets more loud & rude. Like she doesn’t care if mangers see. So in the video it shows me being nice & not saying nothing. While she’s screaming about I must not be from here cause I don’t know the laws of QLD. Guessing from my accent… I’m an African American who’s been in Australia for 10 years but that still gives nobody to make comments like that. So after not saying nothing she steps back & takes a few minutes & calls security & says I’m getting irate! Clearly in the video it shows me not saying a word & you can hear her lying & trying to escalate the situation! With me recording I knew she would feel silly when he did come in. Security came in & didn’t say nothing to me! So I stopped him & let him know the issue at hand & also spoke with another Manger name Sam. I will be ringing everyday to speak to a site manger or Martin & will send the video to corporate. This is how many people get in trouble over someone being pure rude & trying to escalate a situation! I have video that proves everything that was stated. Maybe just retain Liz on how to not try & make a situation something it’s not! Very bad feeling of getting talked down to in front of others & I simply asked for what the young lady stated at the beginning!
Always know where everything it, staff are usually realy helpfull, some sections are always untidy and a mess.
Wife buys quite a few items, kitchenware and pet accessories. I usually check the Lego out but its selection is junior range and hardly any technical sets.
Many options for cheap home wares and clothing etc. I am a fan of their household storage products - well priced and they look good.
Big, clean, not crowded and close to a car park as this centre is big to walk so good to park close
Any and all Kmart's are a let down with their checkout location, like who came up with such an awful idea?
Anyway got some shoes here recently for a new job and by the 3rd day they aren't looking so great anymore and I'm mostly on the road doing deliveries compared to my time instore.
Sizing of men's dress pants are a pain to deal with in the business, straight, slim.
Basically just like most Kmarts, place appears to be busy all the time, checkout and stock are still a problem, but we have taken to using the online service with a bit more success.
Always enjoyed visiting the Kmart stores, good quality is great to suit the price, my only problem is the areas for payment are to my mind in the wrong place, which places every body in the position of showing whats in there bag even if they have not purchased. The inspectios at the exit doors are also inconsistent.
Abysmal parking even in the middle of an average week, and terrible pedestrian access when had to park a long way away from the centre. I had to walk through gardens because there was no footpath through to the main centre.
On top of that the “Click-and-collect” service, which you’d think during this contactless COVID period, required me to go to the very back of the shop, even though the supposed back-of-house Click-and-Collect point was where to go.
Terrible setup overall.
With current covid situations stock is low. But staff remain friendly answer questions. Clear that some stock is finally returning to shelves
There are some really good value things here (eg $9 shower caddy) and some really terrible things (eg vacuum cleaners pretending to be Dysons - they really suck ie they don't suck).
Most things are good value though.
The checkout area being in the middle of the store is weird and I've never liked that, but it's good that there are lots of self serve checkouts.
