Relaxed atmosphere, feels like a real RSL since it is so near the Galipoli Barracks. Food is consistently nice, and the service is friendly and prompt. It is another great example of the fine Australian RSL tradition.

My husband and I always enjoy our visits to the Gaythorne RSL Club. The food is excellent and staff are very obliging. We have been members there for 20years or more.

The standard of RSL food has risen since 1990. It hasn't here. The menu is packed with deep fried products from the woolies freezer and the prices are unreasonable.

Ruined by the fun police and their over reactions. Witnessed a lady buy a shot to celebrate a rare night out and then be asked to leave not two minutes later. The steak with pepper sauce was interesting, the menu never mentioned ginger in the sauce!

Nice place to hang out with friends and family for lunch and dinner and a cold beer and also a Awesome place to watch live bands.

From the moment we entered to the moment we left we felt warm welcome and friendliness. Great food and beers

Went here for dinner twice. The first night I ordered a Caesar salad. I asked for chicken as an extra because it wasn’t listed on the menu and the man behind the counter told me it came with. It didn’t. We had already waited 40 minutes for our food so I didn’t bother sending it back.
The second night was also very average. The customer service and product knowledge could be improved. The quality and size of the meals aren’t great either. The only dish that we all enjoyed was the spinach and feta bread.

Have not been to RSL for over a year as last time we were there the meal was disgusting.guess what it hasnt change, told waitress she said she would pass it on to the chef, didnt have anyone come and talk to us so figured they just dont care if their customers are happy or not. What a shame that there is no work ethic or pride in what people do anymore.

Very disappointed tonight my grandson had the Seafood Pizza and it was only minced bits of seafood very small hardly make out what they were not even coming to the edge of the pastry.

It's a meeting place with my friends.
The coffee Monday evening was made perfectly. Thanks to that lady. She needs to teach others.

A great local RSL with a gaming room & TAB! A dining room with excellent specials & members receive a birthday cake & 1 free drink! You receive a sheet of discounts for your birthday in the mail a fortnight before! On Saturday there are raffle tickets sold for cash prizes & meat trays while you listen to the male entertainment! A one man show! There us a music venue upstairs where I seen the rolling stones band on New Years Eve! The Gaythorne is available for breakfast on Anzac Days for members!

I have been to this place so many times even though I live in Fitzgibbon I like going to this club. They serve great food with a friendly service. I would recommend this place.

Honestly I love going to the RSL as the people are super nice and the food is even better. It's just good quality food at a good price, and you cannot ask for a better atmosphere. My family and I are lifelong members and try to eat here at least once a month because we enjoy it so much. 10/10

I had the Chicken Parma, it was perfectly cooked and tasted great. The portion size was small compared to Arana Leagues Club (where I also often go), but it was a much better parma.

Great food at affordable prices, friendly staff, plenty pokies, live entertainment and prize draws. I always have an enjoyable experience!

I'm a member here and it really is a great place to visit. Beers are cold and steaks are delicious!

It's an RSL, what can I say? The staff are great but it's just your usual pub food. It's a good convenient spot for us locals.

Went there for dinner. Food was reasonable, drinks were reasonable, atmosphere was good. Pokies were no good (no returns).
