What an absolutely wonderful day. The crew were so wonderful and professional, the vessel is an outstanding craft and although the weather was not on it's best behaviour the crew did their utmost to ensure we saw whales and had a brilliant day.the food that was served was very good as well. I would highly recommend this cruise for anyone that is keen to see whales and have an outstanding day.

I don't often leave reviews but you guys are amazing and I can't recommend you enough! The booking process was easy, your boat is perfect for whale watching as there are heaps of places to stand (unlike other boats), the food was fantastic and plentiful, the skipper was great with the commentary and the crew were super efficient and friendly. Oh, the the whales that day were the best we have ever seen. We will be back.

We did this 7 hour trip with Freedom, and it was such a wonderful day. From the commentary from captain to 2 wonderful deck hand and the performance of so many dolphins me this just a wonderful 70th birthday trip.

Whole deal was first class. The full day tour was really so much more worthwhile than half days for very little discount. Whales were mostly found quite a long way North so travel time also made the full day so much more worthwhile. Impressed that several visitors were repeat attendees having been several times before so repeat business is great evidence of their satisfaction with the tour.
Lunch, morning and afternoon tea were all excellent and we were collected from our accommodation exactly to time.
All in all it was a great experience and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys. Beware that you need to book well ahead to be sure to get the date you want. Robert and Elaine

We had an absolutely fabulous day today on our whale-watching adventure. The morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea were all delicious; the commentary was entertaining and informative; Reece and Toni were extremely pleasant and helpful, and we saw many whales, even though it was the end of the season. We thoroughly enjoyed watching them frolic and loved that the staff were as excited as we were to see the whales. Thank you to the staff and management of Freedom 111 Whale Watch. You did a great job.

Done many whale watching tours in Hervey Bay, and these guys have put together the best tour. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea is provided, they even have a well stocked fridge for those who would like to indulge them self with a beverage or two. Keith and all the staff are all very friendly and informative. We saw heaps of whales playing in the water around the boat, mothers and calves, a mob of juvenile males having a rumble over a female, learnt heap's about whales and their environment. Just got back from a awesome day with these guys. Great comfy boat, helpful friendly people and good food too. Couldn't have asked for more.

What a great day out! A group of ten Hervey Bay residents went out with FreedomIII and had a most enjoyable 3/4 and a bit day.
The commentary was spot on, with facts we had not heard before; all the staff were most obliging; the food was greater in quality and quantity than expected; the vessel itself was in good, very clean condition and, according to an experienced former boat tour operator out of Mackay, it was top notch (with the minor exception of a non-marine grade light fitting over the rear platform!).
My rating is only four stars because 1) of the forty odd whales sighted, only one performed a breach, but was five or six times; 2) the sea was a bit rough, particularly on the way back home - wouldn't you think they could have mastered that with all their experience; and, 3) my first beer, just after morning tea, could have been a tad colder.

Had such an unforgettable day on Freedom III, very highly recommended. Once in a lifetime experience seeing these beautiful creatures and the knowledgable captain will definitely make sure you’ll have a close look to the whales! Food was very good and the staff very kind. Loved every second spend on Freedom III!

What a great tour all staff were very friendly and helpful, the captain well he was a very knowledgeable and funny person. The food was scrumptious and the tour was worth it for the all day experience and a bonus we even seen heaps of whales. Well done crew.

Fantastic whale cruise. Keith was an excellent and fun commentator. The crew friendly. We saw plenty of whales up close and a mother feeding her calf. Highly recommend you don’t miss a day on Freedom 111 when in Hervey Bay.

Best in the Bay with a great setup and super crew. Good food and heaps of whales. I now have a beaut collection of shadows, splashes and swirls.
Even had a calf accidentally wander into 1 photo.

Freedom IÌI is the best whale watch experience we have ever had and we plan to do it again next season. The staff and boat were great and the food was very nice too. We saw so many whales and many came very close to the boat. Breaches, whale and tail slaps and even a whale chase, we saw it all and It was amazing! Thankyou Freedom.
