Had a wonderful trip with the Freedom team 11 Oct 23. Amazing people, absolutely amazing whale encounters and Sue’s scones are to die for. The boys serving morning and afternoon tea with lunch in between did a really good job, the whole team were really friendly. Definitely worth the money. WOW! Absolutely amazing experience, from the beginning to end.
The owners Sue and Keith were so patient with my booking and the crew made the day so unforgettable. Being able to spend a full day instead of half was so worth while, it really made such a difference and we were out in the water for so long and optimised our whale watching experience. These guys have truly nailed the experience from the food to the shuttle ride with Lloyd was also great! I can’t fault it at all. We sure will be back next year!

The skipper Toni, Gabby, Matt & crew were amazing. Just loved whole day. Were looked after so well, saw so many whales, mother feeding her calf. Was calm, then exciting. We felt safe the whole trip. Thank you

We just had the most amazing day. We have done whale watching before, but nothing compares to today’s experience. Everything was perfect - the crew, the boat, the food, the experience and of course the whales (who kept us entertained for hours).

What can I say except " WOW" what a beautiful full day of Whale Watching today. I can not fault anything about today.
The boat: spacious, very clean, and so comfy.
The staff: they where ALL AMAZING
The food: was so GOOD
THE WHALES: I don't know what amazed me more, the two juveniles who gave us a great show, or the many other whales we saw, but I must say the Mother and Baby we met made me very emotional, they came up so close and the Mother even shared her Spray from her blow hole with me and nearly all the other guest. Just a magical feeling.
So thank you, I had a very special day, and will be returning to your vessel next year.
I also recommend people to do the full day tour, it was just so relaxing, so much better than half days.

Wow, just Wow. Crew and Skipper were so friendly and great service. Lunch, Morning and afternoon tea delicious. Most importantly saw so many whales and quite a few up close to the boat. Was a bit more expensive than the bigger Whale Watching boats but so worth the money. More personable, comfortable and easy to get around the vessel. Would highly recommend. Thanks so much for a great day, even turned the weather on for us on Wednesday 6th Sept.

Had a great day out on Monday. Toni and the crew handled the boat well in lumpy conditions. The food was awesome and the whales came out to play. We were mugged by a young male who cruised around the boat for about an hour, came across a 'fighting' pod (males jostling for mating rights) and encountered a mother and a calf that performed a couple of breaches. Great stuff. Freedom III always delivers a terrific day.

We had a day filled with adventure, excitement and memories.the skipper and crew were very obliging, the food was delicious and plentiful.when our trip ended, we were left with with happy memories of a magical day. Thanks everyone. Moira and John G.

Just spent an awesome day on Freedom III Whale Watch; the second trip in 5 weeks and even better this time around. Lots of whales and the most awesome experience was when a mother and calf came across and swam alongside our boat doing all sorts of manoeuvres; the calf even stared directly at us! This has to be one of the best value whale watching trips in Hervey Bay. The trip lasted six and a half hours and the morning tea, (especially Keith's Profiteroles) chicken, cold meats and salad for lunch and then cheese, biscuits and a fruit platter for afternoon tea was first class! We'll be back!

What a fabulous day out with Keith and crew on Freedom 111, last Sunday keeping us well entertained. They went over and above ensuring we had the best opportunity to view the magnificent whales.and we were not disappointed! So fortunate to see several pods including mother and bub. Oh, the size of them.such a sight. At one stage a pod circled round and round our boat, so close.
We were also treated to a very yummy morning tea of scones with jam and cream, plus profiteroles. A beautiful lunch of ham, chicken and tasty salads. For afternoon tea there was fresh fruit, cheese and bikkies. Thanks for a wonderful day out never to be forgotten.

The freedom 111 gave us the most amazing intimate whale experience possible. The boat has areas that allowed us to get within feet of the whales.the only way we could have got closer was to have jumped in the water.the skippers sole goal is to get you close to whales. The comfort level and food is great as well. I just can’t see how it could have gotten any better than this.

Truely an amazing experience. Such a great day. The crew are outstanding, food tasty and the Skipper totally entertaining. Then there are Whales! OMG. The most amazing, surprising and delightful adventure. It was our first time and we will definitely be whale watchers again. Thank you for such a brilliant day.

We had a great experience whale watching with Keith, Pete and Toni, super friendly and helpful. Food was very nice and plentiful. We saw plenty of whales and different behaviours which were explained to us and thoroughly enjoyed our day out, boat was very comfortable and spotless.

What a wonderful day we had, they picked us up from the caravan park took us to the catamaran where we were greeted by the wonderful staff, once aboard we had morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, delicious, we saw many whales and one put on a show for us, such an amazing day, staff was more than helpful, the skipper was very informative, will definitely will be back to do it again, Thank you

The best whale watching experience ever!
Captain Keith and crew Rhyce were fantastic, funny warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to ensure we had the best whale watching experience possible. Even in the last week of the season we saw more whales and breaching calf’s than I could of ever expected this late in the season. An exceptional 10 out of 10 whale watching day. The morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea was great, and the bar with relaxing drinks in the afternoon just finished the day off perfectly whilst taking the beautiful close up to Frasier island route back to the marina. A magnificent day

The tour was fabulous, the captain & staff went above & beyond to give us the best whale encounters. The food & service was excellent. Would fully recommend
