Exceptional Service at Freedom Jindalee – A Shopping Delight!

My recent visit to Freedom at Jindalee left me thoroughly impressed, and I feel compelled to share the outstanding experience we had with the staff, particularly with Cassie.

Upon entering the store, we were warmly greeted by two staff members. Cassie, the female staff member who approached us, went above and beyond to assist us. We originally came in with the intention of purchasing FRED Canisters for my pantry, and Cassie's expertise and helpfulness made our shopping experience truly delightful.

Not only did Cassie guide us to the FRED Canisters, but her knowledge of the products and willingness to offer assistance led us to explore additional items that we hadn't initially planned to purchase. Thanks to Cassie's recommendations, we left the store with more items than expected, and we couldn't be happier with our choices.

Cassie's dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction was evident throughout our interaction. Her friendly demeanor and genuine interest in helping us find the perfect items for our needs truly stood out. It's refreshing to encounter such exemplary customer service, and it significantly enhanced our overall shopping experience.

Pretty dubious customer service in the kitchen centre. Bro seemed very disinterested once he learnt that we had made a design consultant appointment online "look there is not a lot I can do to help you
. " we didn't even know that we could book in-store. Blah blah. Internal Freedom politics. Then our design appointment was completely overpriced for pretty average cabinetry.taking business elsewhere.

Found the store to be lacking on our visit. Going to call in again and see if its a different experience.

The day we went it had a sale on, was messy, and didn't make me feel like buying anything

Gave one star for the lady (Amy) who blamed us and refused to take any resposbility for not providing us right information at the time of purchase. We purchased furnitures from Freedom Jindalee store for more than 8000 dollars. They were very sweet at the time of purchase which included purchasing of mattress. Sales person told us that mattress if not suitable to you can be returned within 100 days of delivery. On receiving delivery, we found mattress was not firm enough for us and we visited Jindalee store to ask them on what can be done. This lady (Amy) then said that since we didn't purchase matress protector from them, then our matress is not eligible for return. We informed her that why didn't sales person provided same information to us at the time of selling? She said "well, I am sure he did. Otherwise you should have read terms and conditions before paying". I am myself a Consultant from last 10 years and have never ever treated my customer this way. The most ill mannered and rediculous staff have been hired at this store. After purchase, blame will be on customer though we know that their sales person didn't provide us the information. DO NOT expect any decency from staff of this store as they do not have any. Highly recommend to buy from ANY store but not this horrible store.

Gave one star for the lady who sold us the furniture (she was lovely) but that’s it. Spent over 10 grand in store and waited 6 months for delivery (which was ok) but they got dodgy delivery people who scratched my timber floor. I have photographic proof of the damage AND the delivery guys who did the damage as they were doing the damage. If I posted the thread of emails, you’d laugh at how any store/managers could be so incoherent and unprofessional. Do NOT buy from Freedom. It’s not worth the inevitable damage of your property, not the stress you will go through.

EDIT: Four months later and the issue is still not resolved. Looks like I will have to take this further up the chain. Disgusting service from Freedom. If you buy furniture from them make sure you deliver the goods yourself DO NOT TRUST THE CREW THAT FREEDOM HIRE.

You specifically ask not to be added to the mailing list, and also don’t open an account. But still you start getting the marketing texts.
So therefore they have kept my details when I asked them not too. They don’t value your privacy and who knows what their data control is like.

I love Freedom Jindalee. This store looks small from the front but once inside its a wonderland of everything homewares. Staff were incredibly helpful, made themselves known, but let me shop and browse at my own pace. When I needed assistance there where plenty of helpful friendly faces around to help me out. The perfect mix of customer service and leisurely shopping without the 'helicopter' style 'desperate for your sale' staff. Which I do dread from some of their competitors and other shops in the Jindalee homemaker centre.

Our first time dealing with Freedom.

We have endured extensive delays. They made us pay up in full to ensure it would arrive on time. We have now been waiting 4 months for our couch when we were told 2, with us having to call repeatedly to ask how long it is going to take. Now we are told it is going to be another month. They refuse to call to update on delays, stating they are too busy with sales. Very poor customer service, with promises to call us back and they don't, being unapologetic, and offering no compensation.

How a family member can purchase very similar items and have much quicker delivery is a mystery.

We spoke to one of the managers today, Jennifer, who was not very polite and not very helpful at all. From looking at other reviews, this is not an isolated case with Jennifer, as most of the one star reviews mention her name and poor customer service. Maybe the owner needs to look closer at staffing choices.

We understand that there may be delays due to COVID, but customer service is everything, and to say the customer service is extremely poor is me just being polite.

Wife and I today we're looking for a lounge suit. We went to Freedom. Badi a sales rep was very professional, kind, Caring and took the time to show us a range of products which suited our needs. We weren't pressured and the manager did a deal on our purchase for us. We are very happy and would recommend freedom at Jindalee to anyone looking for amazing customer service.

Ordered a coffee table 5 months ago which was supposed to be ready last month and get notified by shop when it’s in stock. I called the shop today to follow up if there is a problem in my order and been told that it’s already in the stock! The guy said we had to pay the remainder (about 60% of total price) so they call us and confirm! Not sure if that’s the policy with Freedom or just a BS! The minimum costumer care I require after paying lots for deposit is to be informed once it is arrived so I pay the remainder.
Also, a flashback to September when I placed my order, the lady who served us was too busy with chitchatting with her colleagues that took a long time to understand there are costumer waiting at the counter!
I give one extra star rather than two cause after all this, I paid the remainder and been told that I will receive my order this week which is a logical delivery timeframe after order been settled.

Don't waste your time or breathe in this store!
Horrible, disgusting experience. Bought a table, was told it was in stock and getting delievered the next week. It was not. When we rang the store, was brushed off numerous times. After numerous more phone calls and a visit to the store, continued to get unproffessional and rude staff. Store is now refusing to give us a refund with no explaination as to why and we still have not even recieved the table that has been paid for in full. This store unreliable, unprofessional and out right rude. Never buying through Freedom ever.

Extremely disappointed with their disgusting service! Store manager Jennifer is so rude and very unprofessional. A staff named Amy assisted with my over the phone purchase and assured I can collect it any day. Only when I went to collect the items on the following day, I was told there was no such transaction on their system though I had clear records / transaction on my internet banking. As the store manager didn’t know how Amy processed the transaction, she carelessly asked me to come back again? Seriously? Is this the way you treat your customers? She wasn’t even apologetic! I am appalled how not a single apology was given even though it was clearly their mistake and they were not properly trained to handle such a basic transaction. I highly recommend you avoid this location and go to Fortitude Valley or Logan where I never had any issues!

Bought a chair that we were told was in stock and would be delivered within a week. After nothing for 3 weeks I started making enquiries. I was fobbed off 3 times. Turns out the chair I ordered is still in warehouse but they don't know why it's not allocating to me, but I will have to wait another 3 months for more stock. Jen the Manager and 2 other staff were extremely rude throughout the whole process. Will never step foot in that store again.

Appalling customer service, store manager is rude and unprofessional. Collection point now located at a large industrial collection site where trucks also pick up items, you are ignored and treated like an annoyance. Refunded requested through store after being left in rain and unable to continue to wait for the extensive time, of which I was told by freedom Jindalee store manager too bad go back and get your items. Horrible, will never go back to freedom!

Order never arrived to shop. Was told it would take two weeks and had to contact freedom at 6 weeks but they didn't know where it was at. Then told it's in the warehouse and I need to book in to pick up, link doesn't work to book and phone number rings out to some shipping company. Won't let me cancel my order. Terrible service.

Customer service is terrible. Called the Windsor store instead and it’s worth driving out that way to get better service.
