EMF Jnr Nerang reviews
48 After a disappointing play session experience earlier in the week, I was impressed that management contacted me and assured me that the problem areas I had pointed out were addressed and repaired. They were open to genuine feedback and acknowledged my observations. Dylan’s professional and empathetic response was appreciated.
I suggested more vigilance was necessary regarding adults being barefoot in the children’s play areas. No socks / no play / no exceptions, should be strictly enforced as a courtesy to ALL!
This is a great play facility with lots of space and lots of activities but parents need to monitor their own children’s behaviour carefully. The signs say one child per trampoline for good reason.
Hosted my son's 3rd birthday there and this was our first time here. Booked for 30 kids and ordered adults meals too. Firstly we walked inside the area and nobody showed us our party room or came to approach us at all i had to go at reception asking where is our party room. Party room set up was good. Only only one girl was handing everything and delivering adult meal took nearly 45 minutes one meal at a time. Fruit salad came and we had to wait 15 minutes for another meal. By the time all meals were delivered and they could do kids meals kids were already hungry and started on adult meal.
We did cake after kids meal and the host was suppose to engage kids with game but nobody showed after. The host rocked 20 minutes before party ended to notify us to vacate the area so they can get ready for another party. I asked about the games for kids but they were not to bothered and no apologies. I was told to complain at front desk about it. It was very messy party and we didn't enjoy at all. For 40 people there was 2 jug of water and every time we had to request for refill. My experience with other indoor game area was far more better than this. It was a very stressfully party. I will never return to this venue.
Great area for kids, although the bigger kids are a bit rough an more staff to watch over would be better. The cafe is very average, very poor variety of food an drink compared to other centres, an yet they don’t want you to bring in outside food due to OHS, lol. We’ll perhaps fix your cafe.
Kids loved it here - lots of stuff for them to do. Not cramped. Good sized party rooms. Modern toilet facilities. Lots of free parking.
We paid $400 for our Granddaughters birthday party here today, the kids enjoyed the play equipment but overall it is definitely not worth $400, the hosting is poor, the food is poor not to mention the diabolical coffee sold at the cafe!
Great place to take the kids, run them silly has climbing slides tramps they need more range at the kiosk, and they have taken away the area for little kids to drive little tike cars area, area instead they built a ninja course for older people
My 2 year old had so much fun today Be nice if there was more on the menu at the Cafe to choose from.
But the place is great for kids.
I've been coming this place for so many times including my daughter's birthday parties and school holidays and always happy with the facilities and the cleanness. However, there has been alway one thing makes me look around other alternative play centres.
It is the COFFEE (and other drinks too, of course)! I remember when this place firstly opened, it wasn't too bad. But it didn't last long and has been gradually worsening to the level I can even have a sip now. Please improve your baristas! I'm not gonna mention about the service this time as I'm not in a fancy cafe, but if you are gonna charge almost same amount of money for the drinks, please be fair for the money.
Books my child's 7th birthday here an I could not fault the experience at all, Best playcentre we have been too and the trampoline area was so great.
Great playcentre for toddler all ages. My 2 year old had such a good time. We love that there is plenty of free parking, multiple areas to explore, cafe which has a variety of options such as sandwiches, cakes and smoothies.
Highly recommend this place, there is an area which is gated and for under 4's only but my 2 yr old loved all the play areas. We visited during lunch time mid week and it wasn't crazy busy. It was a good day!
We visited this today, after I had heard recommendations of being amazing
We walked in, paid $30 for both the kids
And walked out…. Within 5minutes
Here’s why
The floors were beyond sticky / slimy / putrid
The jumping castle according to my son was sticky and slimy
My daughter even stepped in what appeared to be either strawberry or tomato
They blamed not enough staff… to clean up
In my opinion, in these covid times cleanliness should be above par.
My only positive thing is they refunded us when I decided we were not staying. This was not without argument.
I came here with my 6 year old son for a birthday party and he had a great time. The large trampoline area with foam is definitely a favourite amongst the kids, sometimes you'll get some rough children here taking it too far and no parents in sight, but for the most part it's a really great venue. It's clean, well run and new. Your kids will love it.
I like to explore different indoor play centres for my daughters to enjoy, however I did find that EMF Junior was quite basic with the equipment compared to others but also i had to pay for my 9month old to play which usually you do not pay for under 2 years of age (my baby in this circumstance spent 10minutes max playing) but also the signs on the each play area specify the age limits in saying this the younger play area states that it is for 2-4 years of age, so where is the play area for the children under 2? We need to pay for them so there should be a play area designated for children under 2 years.
The parents room was a little cramped with only 1 feeding booth and 1 change area the parents rooms st shopping centres are better equipped.
Staff were okay they could all smile abit more but unfortunately they seemed to be under some stress, I just expected a little more enthusiasm from staff as it is a place for children.
Absolutely amazing space for kids. If they can't find anything to do while mum and/or dad have a work out, then they haven't even tried!
I wish this type of place was around when my kids were younger - that alone would have got me going regularly to a gym
Great little place to have kids birthday. Great service and staff very friendly and professional.
Not a great place to hire for an event. Experienced such poor communication and misdirection from staff members, and defensiveness/hostility from its manager. Although the venue itself has such great equipment and space, the staff really ruined it all.
Great facility for kids to play. Book the kids in during the supervised sessions and get a workout in or recovery session at the same time in the EMF Performance & Recovery Centre down the hall:)
Great place for rainy days. Lots of room for the kids to play. A few more food options would be nice
This place is big and spacious with great climbing frames for the kids to enjoy. Lots of tables and chairs for parents to relax. The downsides is the cafe. In the area very basic and somewhat over priced for what’s on offer. Also no free WiFi. Gets busy in the mornings and on weekends.
Had an awesome time here.set up well for the kids.safe and gated for the lil ones areas so you can actually relax a lil knowing they are safe. And all the parents there at the time were all encouraging the kids to play nice with eachother.only thing I think would be better if they had a bigger variety of food to eat so you can make a day out of it.but there wasn't really anything that the kids would want so we had to cut the day short and go eat elsewhere
