This place is so good, there were people standing outside waiting for them to open.on a weekday! I love the variety of books here

Great range, staff are helpful and the store layout invites exploration. You can also buy gifts and stationery.

Neatly organised categories and assortment of books within, spacious aisles, friendly staff are a few things that bring me back to this store.

The new location is great. The various genres are easier to find and there's a great range of books which seem to be restocked very regularly. The fountain pen and notebook selection is great - tester pens seem to no longer be on display (likely because they'd be destroyed), but there's a good selection of Lamy ink and some Kaweco and J. Herbin inks too. Love the place. (although there is very little mobile reception in the store so it would be nice if there was an information screen to search for books with)

Great store with neat and tidy environment. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would recommend this place to friends.

Dymocks always has a great range and they have a great set up in their new location (including wheelchair access)

In occasions where a book I have been searching for was out of stock, the staffs were quite happy to look for order and get options.

Love the reading corner too. Real good for a quick read before buying or even to sit and read for sometime.

I don’t even want to give a 1 star. The customer service is really bad that I would never want to buy a book there. I’m one of the customer, who used to buy books from there and this old lady just came up to me and she just took the manga really rudely, saying, “This is not a library! You’re not supposed to be reading and banding it. ” Obviously, people would read it through before they buy it and that is why there’re chairs around. Because there were people sitting on the chair READING the books, I couldn’t find any spots where I can sit so I just sat anywhere and the old lady was like “They were hiding so they could read a manga! ” If we were hiding why were we even there? She was being racist as well and told an Asian lady to kick us out but the Asian worker was being nice to us. Anyway, the customer service is really bad and I hope it improves. Thanks.

Friendly and helpful staff, knowing exactly where to direct me, and finding the books I was looking for! A warm and inviting atmosphere.

Very wide selection of books. Alert staff will always go above and beyond to make sure you get everything you want without pushing you to spend on stuff that you don't want.

It has a good range of books and that is what is important but there are some staff there who are unfriendly and sullen

Great book store - lots of variety and choice. Has a small frontage downstairs, but it's a lot bigger upstairs. Located in a great spot just off Queen St Mall.

Good place to choose a book and buy it. It is very quiet, you can read quietly and walk through the multiple corridors that you have while you see books and books. They have a lot of variety to choose from.

Great collection of books in this store! The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Just don't forget to bring in your Dymocks Card to get a discount for this year's XMas!

Not just books. The lower level is dedicated to stationery and gifts. Books on level 2 are well categorized. Great bookstore.

I was quite amazed that this bookstore quite have a large collection of books. When Borders went to insolvency as well as other businesses nowadays. I gave up going to bookstores because they only have a small selection of book. Most of the time they do not have the book in store. But surprisingly this book has it and many more. The staff were very helpful.

Called them in the morning and put on hold some books for me to grab at lunch hour. Made my life easy peasy.

So expensive, but this is the norm in Australia. At least I found there things I was looking for
