Although it has become smaller than before, it is still worth a visit. There are children’s books written by Australian authors, which are perfect as souvenirs! There are also many and good varieties in the recipe section!

Great selection of books and friendly and helpful staff in case you cannot make up your mind.

I went in for a retirement card for a colleague and they had a great selection. I got an oversized one and was in and out in less than 5 mins, great service.

My son purchased a graphic novel which had an issue with the stitching within the book and the pages were falling out. The staff especially Michelle went above and beyond to ensure we could get our book exchanged as we live on the Gold Coast and only visited Brisbane for the day. The exchange was quick and very well handled! Thank you again Michelle for excelling in your customer service and great communication throughout the transaction and also for helping get a new book to my son so quickly as well. Can’t wait to go back in on my next trip to Brisbane to grab some more good reads for our family!

There are many different books. There are also books by Korean authors everywhere. I'm reading recommended books for young people to study English.:)

Went in, got help from one of the staff, bought my book and left. Perfect mission, place is amazing

A decent general bookstore with a wide range of frontlist titles and the occasional interesting backlist - you might get lucky. No deep sections that I can find. On the odd occasion I have made a special order the staff have been "reticent" and I now do my special orders elsewhere. A wide range of gift stationery (including Lamy pens) and other gift items (coffee cups, teatowels etc) is available along with jig saw puzzles. The new premises downstairs in Queen St is roughly the same size or a bit smaller than the old store upstairs on Albert St. I find it a bit harder to see my way around as the shelving is higher. Altogether a good store.

Rarely have to go without a title you want here. Wicked Horror, Cookbooks galore and stationary. The website tells you about the range if your looking for books on a subject and the search function helps you to narrow it down. You just have to front, and ask for the title.

Clean, uncluttered bookstore with plenty of space between the bookshelves to accommodate one customer on each side while avoiding encroachment on personal space. The staff were kind enough to slip a nice handwritten message on the first page of my book, which I did not see until after I’d got home and started reading. Thank you

There's a very kind and helpful staff member there, her name is "kaycee", she's very friendly.
If there's a certain manga that's not in stock she double check the shelf which is very nice of her. She even call's the stock warehouse and runs the process with me to let me know around the processing time frame if I ordered a book there which is such a pleasant service.

She's passionate at what she does so I highly recommend her! 10/10 service. Thank you kaycee for making my visit there always a pleasant one.

Like this place just like a library of every kind of book but purchasable! There is a great vibe about this city oasis.

The right place for "old-fashion" book lovers like me. One of the biggest Dymocks I've been.

They have a good selection of books and very helpful staff. One of them helped me find a book that I was looking for, and I didn't even initiate asking for help.

Amazing! Staff friendly and a really place! I can stay there for hours cause they got so many choices!

I love this store. My only "first-world" problem is that there's no mobile coverage here, probably due to being underground. Maybe you can offer free wifi, so I can spend more money in your store after researching titles online.
