If you go in make sure to ask for Sam. We had a horrible delivery experience and found some of their staff quite condescending. The furniture and appliances are fine and Sam certainly made up for the other lacking areas.

First off, it's on the other side of the road. The shopping centre is split into two. Either side of Wickham St.
Also, Hardly Normal and Domayne are both the one shop upstairs of the Homemakers Centre in the Valley. Stock is limited and did not have the beds we wanted. We still knew what we wanted and bought nearly $5000 of beds but were told no returns as we did not actually try out the beds. But they didn't have the beds to try and would not get them in for us to try. And buy today as the sale finishes today. Round and round in circles. Very poor customer service and quality. Lucky for the bed manufacturer that we were fairly confident of their manufacturing quality as opposed to the retailer service and support.

Bought a leather sofa for $2900 less than 2 years ago, stitching is falling apart and can see the splits, was told theres only one year warranty on leather and thats normal wear and tear for that product, cant believe that premium furniture store like Domayne sells such poor quality leather sofas, poor customer service as well!

Recently purchased the Trentham bed from Domayne. Waited nearly 9 weeks to be made but very happy with the end result. Looks amazing!
Steve very helpful with information in store and over the phone. Delivery went smoothly and drivers were friendly, polite and phoned on arrival. Will happily buy from Domayne again.

I would highly recommend Steve in particular and the team at Domayne when purchasing a bed. His knowledge, attitude and willingness to help me has been second to none. I found them to be very accommodating and client focused when assisting me arrange a complicated delivery. When Steve was not available his colleagues were still able to help me seamlessly.

Being in customer service myself I can really appreciate excellent service and that's exactly what you'll get from Domayne at Fortitude Valley.

Don’t buy a bed or mattress here! Keep away! Once they have your money they completely could not care and become super passive aggressive if there is an issue.

We spent $3,000 here on 3 mattresses and a bed, and had stuff up after stuff up. And a 7-10 business days delivery is a ‘rough guide’ says Adrian the bedding guy who had the gall to also use the phrase ‘look, I’m just trying to help you out on a Saturday’ like he comes in on the weekend as a benevolent saviour when we point out we still don’t have a mattresses for our kids to sleep on.

In short - wrong type of mattresses delivered, reorder adds another $450 (a disdainful South African your point of no interest here during this conflict) next delivery 18 days in total (after 2 complaint callls) remember 7-10 business days is the vibe rather than a contract, and then they don’t use the right mobile number provided the day earlier for delivery to contact us. Truck arrives at 7: 00 am with no one at home, then charge $75 for a re-delivery
or you don’t get your goods!

Customer care was just woeful. Products average at best. The staff are so bad I almost feel sorry that they are trapped in a vocation they clearly hate.

Am going to make it my life’s mission to tell the Universe how terrible they are because I did not get one acknowledgement of any error on their part, no discretion excercised, or a single ‘we are sorry’ uttered.

Ordered the Toledo lounge chairs at the end of April. Was told worse case scenario they will arrive in August. Now in August they say the order has been lost and will have to be re-ordered. They then said they would push for a six week delivery. Why couldn’t they have done that from the beginning? We just asked and received our $1200 deposit back. I would not shop here if this is how an order is handled. Go elsewhere.

My wife and I order a leather lounge and outdoor table setting - a large purchase. The delivery guys dropped off the table and it was broken. We contacted customer support and detailed the issue. The table was replaced in under 3 weeks and the delivery manager personally rang us to apologise. All-in-all the customer service was very good. Deducted one star because the original table arrived damaged.

Absolutely disinterested salesman in couch area. Not a pleasant shopping experience at all, even though some of the furniture I would purchase, if there was a fraction of enthusiasm, interest or personality. Like shopping at the wet fish market.

Bought a very expensive lounge with the fabric protection. In less that a couple of months, noticed a stain. Domayne refused to cover me for any warranty fixtures and the protection company were just as bad. WILL NOT recommend to anyone.

Bought table in August! Recieved in February the following year. Then the table is faulty and cannot be assembled. Biggest waste of our time!
