Dance Culture reviews
43I joined the intro to latin dance course a few months ago and have been going to classes ever since! Highly recommend joining if you've ever thought about taking classes, or just want to get outisde of your comfort zone. 10/10
Great teachers, good lessons, good facilities. I'm excited to keep learning Latin dancing with Dance Culture. They also do socials
The actual class time was good and I had fun - however the communication response was terrible. I send multiple messages and emails asking for a response without any reply. The times say they open at 7 am. One morning I rocked up to find it was closed. This is very misleading.
I’m only on week 2 of a 4 week beginners/intro class and I already want to sign up for the next stage. It’s super fun, the teachers are so friendly and have great leadership chemistry. It’s been easy to follow and I look forward to it every week. I looked at many different dance companies and I’m very happy to have found this studio. If you’re wondering whether to give it a go… you should, you won’t be disappointed.
Dance Culture’s staff are really friendly and extremely knowledgeable in their craft. It’s genuinely a pleasure to dance with them and I can definitely recommend going to learn from them. Go check them out!
Such a friendly environment for learning how to Latin dance. Great vibe! I highly recommend!
Great fun! If you’re thinking about coming along, don’t let nerves stop you. The learning environment is safe and supportive and everyone has a lot of fun
Been going here for over a year now and it’s honestly such a welcoming environment. Teachers are experienced and there are a variety of classes for everyone to enjoy. Everyone is really lovely and if you’re looking for a place to start latin dance, I’d highly recommend this place!
Attended a beginners class for the first time at Dance Culture. The reception staff was very patient and nice.
I had an exceptional experience with Paul leading the class. He was very professional and thorough. He went around the class and gave great tips to each person to improve their form.
I had one dance with him and he could tell quickly a step I knew I had been doing too quickly. I look forward to improving dance at dance culture.
Thank you Dance Culture for providing this space on a weekend!
Great class, I've never danced before (except for in a mosh pit) so was I nervous that I would be terrible at it, but they broke it down nice & simple & I felt like I was actually dancing for the first time ever by the end of the first lesson.
It was fun.
James from dance culture is an amazing instructor, he made learning the steps to bachata and Salsa easy to follow and so much fun.
I did the 4 week introductory classes and loved it, I was really getting the hang of it by the 4th week, such a lovely group and of people with the same interests. I highly recommend the introductory classes and dance culture.
Just finished intro classes with James and loved the vibe and teaching at Dance Culture, looking forward to level 2 classes!
I love it here, pretty good space and a great place to work, coworkers are great, plus the boss is alright, the dancing is good too, I like the portraits on the stairs as you come up
DC is a very welcoming, fun and professional dance studio. The teachers are highly skilled total legends who are completely invested in their art. Love DC
I am an official raving fan of Dance Culture and team of instructor's! Firstly the business presents so beautiful in the digital space, it's branding across social media platforms - to its up to date and informative website.
Walk in and feel welcomed by the your fellow students, and be amazed by the schools array of classes and styles of dancing on the time table! The school is air-conditioned and has 2 separate dance spaces with ample parking surrounding. I especially love the allocated time between classes to practice and be social.
Dance Culture has met my newly found Latin Dance addiction in every aspect. Mine - and the other 100% of 5 star reviews should give you a clear indication that this IS the place to be. Come give it a go!
100% would recommend Dance Culture. I have been going to the latin dance classes for a couple months now and having a blast. The instructors are fantastic and you meet a lot of amazing people.
Learning Latin dance can be daunting at first, especially for men but I have found James’s classes to be easy to follow and he provides a fun and friendly learning environment.
If you're looking for an awesome dance studio in Brisbane, where you can learn all about salsa and bachata, and at the same time make friends and have fun during classes, Dance Culture is the place to be.
Stepping into it, was definitely one of the best decision ever made in my life.:)
Thanks James, thanks DC family!
I cannot express the positivity I have for this place. I've danced here for about 2.5 years, within that time I've learnt to dance multiple Latin styles, made friends for life and gained a new family
Dance Culture is one of the most welcoming places I've ever been to. If you are at all interested in learning to dance, I cannot reccomend Dance Culture enough.
Dance Culture (ex SLG) has always been one of the top venues in Brisbane for Latin dancing. Beautiful floors, air con, great ambiance there is no place you would rather be to get your latin fix on a hot summer day, or night. James from DC is not only an amazing dedicated teacher, he is also a multi talented brilliant dancer who will walk you step by step through everything you need to know to get your shines on the dance floor. Highly recommended.
