Dr Phutela is great, I highly recommend him.

But. Dr Ghandi will do you more harm than benefit. He needs to retire, not continue to mispractise.

I just wanted help with a tooth abscess and was treated like junkie when I asked for pain relief. I have no history of substance abuse I just happen to be young.

Been a patient for over 26 years with Dr Nick Stephens, will be a sad day when he retires #bestdoctor

Dr Sam (Sumer Phutela) is an excellent GP and would highly recommend to family and friends with no hesitation. I have been seeing Dr Sam since the departure of my previous GP and am grateful for his patience and genuine care he provides for my family including my two little boys aged 4 & 2 who find Dr Sam an absolute pleasure (and fun) to deal with.

Despite being fully booked, managed to fit in an emergency visit for family member. Lovely beside manners. Caring.

Dr. Sam is an amazing GP. He is kind, funny and so good with his patients.
Reception staff is wonderful and helpful as well.

What is with the new seats in the waiting room!? They are the most uncomfortable on the planet. Sitting on a rock or a log would be way more comfortable!
The only reasoning behind this I can only see is to discourage any patients in the future!

Great doctors, who actually have time to care for patients. Great with kids too. Get all our jabs sorted here too.

Every dealing with this practice has has been professional, polite and concise. The receptionists are all nice, the nurses are helpful and the doctor that my daughter has seen was very kind and listened to our needs.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Not only did the doctor show no empathy, he seemed uninterested in helping me, spoke only of what he couldn’t do for me before asking any questions and asked me extremely inappropriate questions that was unrelated to my problem.

As a construction worker/professional hole digger of 15 years these doctors give me hope that I too could be a general physician!

It would be zero stars if I could. My doctor of 23 years recently left and now I'm left with the doctors there that provide subpar care and whole load of frustration. To people looking for a doctors surgery Daisy Hill Surgery is NOT the way to go. And to those in my position good luck, we are gonna need it.

There are numerous other surgeries that would be better than one where the professional representation is more important than patient treatment. There are always ways to improve service delivery, its only when that service refuses to acknowledge - anything, that its no longer a service.

I seen Dr R Gandhi and instantly I felt my search for a best doctor is fulfilled. He looked even into minor details of my blood results and put me on a health plan. He seems very experienced and practical in his field.
I got my iron infusion done today as well and nurses looked after me extremely well.

I feel good and positive about the experience today. Highly recommended.

I am in a right place of care.

I came here for covid vaccination. To avoid waiting time or long queue, I booked an appointment at 2: 15 pm since last week. And today when I came, I have been waiting for 1 hour for nothing and still not my turn yet. So disappointed that I have to write a comment while waiting.

Update: i finally got vaccined after 1 and a half hours of waiting! Doctor and Nurse R are nice just the process is soooooo slooooow

Following my recent visit to Daisy Hill Medical Surgery as a patient who has attended the surgery on/off over the course of many years as needed, the practice dynamic has dramatically changed and not for the better.

With the impending and well earned retirement of the founding general practitioners, the new owners and management are very clearly running this surgery into the ground.

Working in HR and management myself. I cannot even fathom how mentally draining this toxic environment is. Witnessing the mismanagement, lack of support for the administration team, nurses and even the doctors in the practice is shocking and clearly reflective in the non existent patient care. The poor attitudes not only towards the patients but between the colleagues in this practice is rife and vast improvements need to be made.

Literally waiting well over an hour for a 10 minute appointment is not good enough. Yes it is a bulk billed surgery, and yes things can and do occur, however sometimes it just is not good enough when it is consistently happening. Why is this not being reviewed? Why is there no protocol in place to help reduce the wait time, reduce the pressures on the GP and support staff.

Hearing first hand the dismissiveness and attitude by some of the reception team and an older dark haired nurse to patients is absolutely abysmal. If someone doesn't understand and or is having difficulty, how about think outside the box, how can you do better by your patient? Rather than berate them for misunderstanding and "wasting your time" as was so callously and loudly said to an elderly patient by a nurse, so loud those of us in the waiting room heard it clearly.

The only worth while GPs remaining are Dr Allison Stewart and Dr Arita Thakra along with nurse Janet who are amazing with their patient care and understanding.

For the sake of the community, change is needed! Because losing generations of families as patients who have been attending the practice for 30+ years would be tragic. The community deserves better, the staff all deserve better. Management need to focus on what is their priority, because what once was is very apparent not anymore.

Lastly without patients, the practice would not exist and if in just 1 hour of waiting I observed all of this why would any patient new or existing want to return? And update your practice phone message please! Calling on a Saturday is a nightmare.

Attempted to make an appointment today 25/6/21. Tried to ring surgery at 10.00 am message bank informed surgery opens from 12.00 Noon on Saturdays. Called again just before 12.00 same message. Called again at 12.30 pm recorded message again! Was in the area so called in. Spoke to receptionist and advised her I had been trying to call and make an appointment. She advised me hours for Saturday had changed. I told her the times registered on message bank and suggested she update the opening hours. She informed me that they can't because to change message would incur a fee from tele provider!
I asked if I could make an appointment and she informed me they were fully booked but I could wait if there was a cancellation or a no show. She said it would be a waiting game. I declined and walked out in disgust! This is not good customer service! Very disappointed in her attitude and manner. Seriously this reception is appalling
Not happy at all with this response from this receptionist!

Please go ANYWHERE else and not this place I would give it 0 stars if I could! Consistently discriminated against, rude up themselves doctors don't wanna be there and don't want to do their job properly, they seem to have very limited knowledge in terms of anything that a doctor should understand!? The receptionists are just as rude as the doctors, I've been attending this surgery essentially my whole life and it's turned to utmost GARBAGE!
