Crank Indoor Climbing reviews
57Very well organised climbing centre. I like this place the most is Brisbane mainly because of how open the space is. It feels like you have room to climb without too many people in your way. It even has a small bouldering section to the side which is great for warms ups although the boulder problems are not too hard. The staff are very knowledgeable and happy to lend some tips on the problems.
Quite enjoyable. They also have 4 auto belays which is great for the kids because I dont have to belay them all day
There's a plentiful selection of climbing walls to choose from and it wasn't at all crowded. Staff were very helpful.
My 12 year old climbed for the first time in her life. Loved it at Cranked. Helpful staff and varied climbing. Very good spot!
Great climbing gym, huge space, so many routes, massive bouldering wall, parkour area, members gym - well run, great fun.
Wife just paid over $100 for three 12 year olds and a 3 year old to enter. Such a massive place yet nothing for youngest to do and only 3 ropes for the older kids to use. After approaching management was told that is the fee just to enter.
Such a shame you guys will take people's money knowing there isn't enough facilities for them to use.
Keep ripping off young families Crank Indoor Climbing
The staff here are so friendly and accommodating! Made our family of six (including a 3 month old) a breeze. The automatic belays are so handy. Can’t wait to return!
We went to a kids party there, and it was really well run. The host was great (and patient) with a group of boys. There is also more than rock-climbing. The kids also did some parkour style activities and Australian Ninja type obstacle course.
Been there a few times now. Staff are always informative and equipment well maintained. Love having the table tennis tables as a break from climbing or while waiting for a wall.
Went for a birthday party, kids had fun but it was a birthday party with 20+ 4-8 year olds and was really disappointed that the owner had only put 2x staff members on (who were brilliant and friendly) to look after them. 2x staff for 23 kids not on.parents had to jump in because kids were falling off the obstacles and they would've only got 1 maybe 2 turns to climb up the wall. Kids had fun because the parents jumped in to help. Rather disappointing otherwise.
I love this place! For the young and young at heart, this place has it all. Self belay walls, partnered walls, rope climb, rings, a free climb wall (with stacks of padding underneath), plus a parkour area, ultimate warrior course and an area for birthday parties. Heck yes! I wish this was around when I was 12!
Very friendly staff and an awesome atmosphere. Will be coming back again thanks for the awesome night
Awesome atmosphere however for the traffic that comes through, the climbs need to be cleaned more. Incredibly slippery and dirty.staff are super friendly and ninja warrior is fun.
Amazing facility, very enjoyable atmosphere & informed/helpful staff. 3 things that make Crank the best.
Awesome climbing and bouldering walls from beginner to expert. If you have your own gear, only $20.
Great fun indoor climbing centre. Customer service was ok but could have been a bit kinder when our group went but overall great fun and friendly atmosphere! ^. ^
Although further from the city than Urban Climbs it offers much nicer climbing than West End - less crowded, longer routes, less polished holds.
