Clark Rubber

Visited the Virginia store today with an unusual query. Having just purchased some golf clubs for our almost teenage grandson, and having had them cut down, they were too short and got “lost” in the golf bag. We were looking for a solution, such as some type of rubber/foam inserted in the base. A very helpful young employee, Ben, suggested appropriate material and did a fantastic job cutting and fitting the base. He was so patient and nothing phased him. Thank you Ben!

The foam was cut perfectly and fits neatly inside sofa cover. Woohoo!

Returned a defective product and was treated like it was my fault by the guy with the grey hair. I am a regular customer and I will go to another store from now on, or order from EBay. No wonder the retail sector is going down the tubes.

They had what I wanted in stock so that was great. But I asked some technical advise about how to seal a small hole in vinyl pool liner. I asked if I could just silicone it as it was small and I explained I had dropped the water level below the hole. I was totally looked down at and told very rudely that wouldn't work and I would need ro use a vinly patch. I don't mind being wrong but shop assistants dont need to be rude about it, we aren't all experts in every field.

Saturday the 26th of October I called to seek some advice about acoustic foam for my bedroom window to block out the unbearable neighbours. I spoke with Graham and received informative information which was in my best interest rather than him just telling me what I wanted to hear as a sales person, I really appreciated that. After the call I decided to visit the store and was greeted by Graham and after a quick chat, he cut the custom size of foam I needed and he also helped me carry it to my car. Great service. The product he sold me was satisfactory and that’s exactly what he explained it would be, he never over promised but just gave me the accurate facts.

Helpful staff who know their stuff. Got plenty of stock on hand and specials seemed to be good value. The young fella serving me spoke about as quick as an auctioneer. He still took the time to ask what I wanted then proceeded to overwhelm me with options and advice. I’ll be back after I digest all I’ve been told.

Staff were polite and efficient, Barry went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my new swag mattress

Great service, great communication. I ordered a pool slide, for a family event. Staff called and said that it was running late. The manager was so helpful and generous helping make it happen – the slide made it on time and happy with everything!

We were surprised at the wide selection Clarks have now and the service was good too we will be going back

Absolutely terrible customer service, was in the shop for 10 mins not even approached to see if we neeeded assistance whilst looking at a pool, when I asked about a product the customer service person was more interested in selling a pool noodle, than the pool I was enquiring about. $$$$$$$ felt like I got a robot response, the guy just stood there and looked at us and seemed very disinterested. Hence why we walked out.

I went into the Virginia store this afternoon and was greeted by a friendly lady at the front desk. After telling her what I needed, custom-cut acoustic foam, she led me through (and in her words) "the best value" options for my situation. A young man assisted her with making sure the custom cut was done accurately.

In all, the staff were helpful and attentive, and the store offered good value and a wide range of products.
