Bunnings Southport

I was a little upset when asked about assembly of my bbq and stand last Saturday. As I've a disability and wouldn't be able to assemble myself. Was told they were basically assembled in their boxes.
Pfffft, no, they weren't, I would've paid extra to have someone there do it for me. But I was lied to.
Hence the low rating guys!

One off my favorite places to visit. Regularly pick up a bargain.love to see all the latest tools and gadgets. And reminisce when i was still working as a tradie. Great news. Now have escooters.

Takes a while to find what you are looking for, staff are scarce when you need to ask a question. Frustrating when time is short!

Always lovely service in-store. This review is specifically for Duty Manager Jordan who resolved an issue for us with a delivery. He listened and was gracious and we ended up with a solution we were happy with after a few false starts over the weekend.

The store was a mess with isles closed and rude staff blocking the lanes having a chat to each other and ignoring customers.

I’ve got and idea for you to help limit the spread of COVID. Put some people behind tills so they don’t queue to get out, you have enough on your staff to float between the floor and letting people out quicker to do it. The rest of your measures are nonsense. One way in and out unless your collecting trollies for Bunnings, then knock yourself out

Whilst a booming business, I still faults especially around customer service - you can’t say they can’t afford more focus on customer needs?

Poor customer service - Even though the website states that 'for an extra fee' you can arrange delivery with assistance this IS NOT the case. Apparently this store does not offer any delivery other than to 'place' your items outside a ground floor door. I explained that they have a large number of customers on the Gold Coast who live in apartment buildings and there are also a large number who require some assistance (i.e. Cannot carry heavy items up in an elevator to the door). POOR FORM BUNNINGS - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!

Easy to find the stuff I wanted, isle number given when I searched online.helpful staff at the check out

The staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful when asked for help, the self check out lady was so rude because an item we took was mispriced so I return but she very rudly asked my partner to pay for what we had and move by the time I returned (2mins) my partner was waiting to the side. I left the product and just left. 70% of staff not wearing or wearing incorrectly their mask either. So disappointed with our service is

Been here again this morning.has everything I need. & the cafe & Sausage sizzle & staff are right on the pulse. Cheeehuuu.

I find most of the staff try and avoid contact rather than help. They are also rare as hens teeth

This Bunnings is BIG. One of 3 local Bunnings around the Surfer's Paradise locality. This place was running at full throttle when I visited on the Anzac Weekend. Service was fantastic, when able to collar a staff member.
I visited the Kaboodle Kitchens section, and although the staff were swamped, they gave fantastic, and thorough attention to me. I'm so happy, as all their advice was correct. No wonder Bunnings is unbeatable!

This is my favourite shop ever! I love BUNNINGS I always enjoy shopping here. So many great products and lovely, helpful staff.

I love Bunnings stores especially since learning gardening 2 yrs ago, their plants just beautiful, friendly people and the Coffee at Bunnings Cafe is sooooo good, I changed to them from Zarraffas, u can taste the coffee bean I urge you all to try the coffee, one stop shop

Nice visit here and was clean with friendly staff. Not one of the biggest on the GC, but had what I needed

If Bunnings could map their stores out the same as each other so when you walk in you know where to go no matter which store you're in.

Warehouse itself is no different to any other bunnings just access getting into and out if the place is difficult. Located right near a set of lights and close to Griffith university

No Brunnings Paspalum grass killer however the young chap was very very helpful and said there is none in stock on the coast

Ordered two bathroom mirrors as special buy in on the 13.03.21 and was told a week to ten days delivery to Southport and we will then be contacted for pick up. Contacted Southport branch on the 13.04.21 to find out where they were and was told the supplier was low on stock and were waiting another shipment to arrive so the order could be filled. Bunnings contacted supplier again to see if it was possible to get two out as they said they were LOW not out and was told two were out for delivery arriving 19 or 20.04.21. I rang today for update as again no communication and was told supplier has run out of stock and no mirrors were sent and no idea of when replacement stock is arriving. I have now been offered a refund! Excuses made by Bunnings no ownership or acceptance that their processes lack. Only informed of order status when I contacted them which means they don't follow up with suppliers or customers. Time for improvement guys!
