Bunnings Newstead

Wow variety on steroids. We went on Wednesday for a look and when we couldn't get it from our local bunnings we went back on Thursday to get the item.

Got hit with a $10 parking fee for going over 2 hours. Had to go back later same day to pick up a few more items. Was only there for 20 minutes second time but got hit with another $5 parking fee because the parking calculations are accumulated per day. Will go to other local Bunnings that don't charge for parking from now on.

This is a great store in general, huge and has all the range you'd expect plus more. The staff here are always very helpful and go above and beyond.

Ontop of this I recently hired a ute for 24hrs and this was such an easy and hassle free experience, other rental companies I have dealth with in the past were a nightmare.

Highly recommend this Bunnings store.

A very big impressive Bunnings, got everything I needed when I went there, quite new and a good location easy to get to without too much hassle for being so close to the city

Great customer service! All staff very friendly and attentive. They can help anyone helpless with no hand man skills like me!

Wonderful place, well set out with friendly helpful staff that always seem to be nearby should you be unsure or need help.

My favourite Bunnings as it has a great range and a well stock garden area. Bought tools, garden tools, mowers, hedge trimmer, hardware, fertiliser and many plant/trees. However, I have had no lock getting an Australian finger lime tree from them despite a regular check.

Friendly staff, great variety and the cafe is pretty neat. Only downer is the parking. Very little trailer parking but great other than that)

Pro's:
Great range of products and large trade drive in area.

Con's:
Trade desk is always under staffed and finding staff to cut timber is very problematic at best of times.

Easy parking and just off the ICB.
Excellent trade excess too!

I am very impressed with the professional manner of one of the staff called Jamie, who helped me so much and gave me the right advice in choosing the right plants and handling and repotting them.

I’m a fan of bunnings but this store is next level.seriously.

If you’ve not been for a once around then do yourself a favour and grab a snag and see what they have in store!

Be warned.you’re highly likely to do some projects and there’s also lots of things for the little ones.

Bunnings Newstead is a bit further from our place than Bunnings from Indooroopilly, but we make the trip their because it's about 10 times larger, carries a much larger range of each type of item, has 2 stories of hardware, and products, multi level parking, and automated parking systems run by camera and number plate recognition.

The customer service is great, if you're looking like you're lost or unable to find a product one of the staff will generally ask of you're ok and are more than likely able to tell you where to find the product off the top of their head, and will walk with you to the aisle or at the least provide you the directions.

The prices of some things can be a bit on the expensive side but all in all not too bad. I noticed when Masters was in town, the prices were better, and seem to have gone back to their usual pricing.

The best part, dogs are allowed as long as they're on a lead, today we saw about 10-15 different groups with dogs of all sizes.
It feels like a very inclusive environment, and there's always something that I can find for my wants and needs.

Drove specifically to this store and was not disappointed. Young member of staff in his first day was extremely helpful, deserves a special commendation, shame I did not get this name. Quickly found what I came for. Loved the store.

CONSISTENTLY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Today Ciarne made my day (and job) much easier. Great plant selection and the bloke there (forgot his name) has been a huge help selecting the right plants for various functions (quick grow, very windy area etc.) Ryan H also helpful in plumbing.

Two stories of Bunnings to get lost in! What is not to love? Great range, central location and ample parking available. Strong selection of flowers, vegetables and other greenery. Looking forward to visiting again!

Brand new Bunnings. 2 level complex (not including the car park in basement. Second level outdoor garden centre is a great feature as some of the other ones in inner city have been lacking

I have had about 10 trips there in the past two weeks (renovating) and I am SO impressed with the friendly staff there. We had to cancel a delivery at the last minute and it was absolutely no problem for them - they were more than willing to help us do what we needed. Today I had to go back for a missing component in a cupboard I had bought - no receipt but absolutely smooth and painless process to get the missing item. Just fantastic service all round, I left there very impressed with the attitude and willingness of the staff to help me get what I need and how I need it. Keep up the good work guys!

The biggest Bunnings store I have ever seen! It has 2 floors & has everything you need to do any thing yourself! My girlfriend's returned a large clothes line for a medium one & we each bought a $2.85 potting mix & concrete to secure the clothes line! Very friendly service & very helpful!

This is a good concept for Bunnings, having stock over 2 floors saves on the amount of space you have to cover to find what you want. The staff have been really helpful and competent.
