Bunnings Newstead reviews
44Other than the squealing your tyres will make on the concrete car park, there is nothing wrong with this bunnings. Staff are helpful and friendlier than most. It's also a big boy being 2 stories.
Great place but isles are spread in two floors, not like your typical Bunnings, which is on one floor. Staff are helpful and prices are very competitive.
Layout of store very different to others being on two levels. Very confusing to say the least. Staff were helpful however in directing where things are. Escalators always seem to be broken down everytime I go there.
I purchased these lovely plants from Bunnings Newstead. The weekends are when I tend to shop, and although so does everyone else, the waiting time to purchase is quick.
A wonderful boy named Sam helped me pick out a door handle for my new study room. He gave me details and instructions on how to install my new door handle; I can tell how interested he was to help me out. His vast knowledge of door handles really inspired me to pursue a career in installing door handles for other people. Thank you Sam, may you be blessed with a wonderful and healthy future. I hope every door you open leads you to a great happiness.
Special orders desk are beyond incompetent and useless! Met in store to order cabinetry pre xmas cut off, then had to chase them every single day for a week to get a deposit invoice so i could pay, to then finally get a the invoice and be told i needed to order a week ago to make the cut off.um i did genius, i have been chasing you for a week to get the invoice to pay.taking my trade orders to virginia now
Tried to get someone to help me find a ceiling fan remote. John working upstairs walked past me ignoring me twice. When I was standing back waiting for him to finish his conversation as he was on his phone. When he walked past me again I asked him if I could grab him for a quick question to which he replied "I'm on the phone". I then went downstairs to ask for help, the girl was lovely but said he was the one who knew about electronics and I could try going back upstairs to find someone else. I don't know if bunnings is just really understaffed at the moment but driving all the way to the store just to be ignored and walking out empty handed really sucked.
Plenty of parking space 2hours free of charge. Had so much fun browsing tools and i have 3 min over and had to pay $10! Be careful it's massive of collection and you will easily spend 2 hours without thinking lol
Best Service Ever! I do a lot of online shopping and Bunnings Newstead extended themselves above & beyond. 2 Days earlier than expected delivery.
Especially given it's Christmas. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Thankyou so very much.
They need to have more staff in the garden area and better signs of price.
Cashier put plants on top of others causing damage
Thank you
Love shopping at Bunnings but my experience today leaves a sour taste in me. I had to get staff to help us with different items and even went to have a diy cutting in store. I did not think overstaying by 30 minutes because of shopping will penalise you for $15.00. I was not parking and going elsewhere.
Buying a screw? Fine.
Buying for trade? Dis-organised, unknowledgeable and unhelpful.
Always friendly staff and after multiple bunnings. This is the only one that can cut keys correct the first time. Also 2 floor car park it's perfect
Bunnings is great at marketing. Most of what they stock is poor quality and overpriced. 80% of the time that I have price checked them against my local Paddington Hardware, Bunnings is minimum of 7% more expensive.
Best Bunnings I’ve ever been to. Large. Well stocked. I had to hunt for staff when I couldn’t find an item, but it was late on a Sunday afternoon.
Never have any problems here. Ample parking, huge range and if they don’t have what you want they will have something else.
I had to go twice in the one day, and both times the girl in the isle was helpful and friendly and efficient. I found what I wanted and didn't waste my day searching the store.
Hands down the best Bunnings I've been to. Absolutely love the nursery in particular. I'd actually live there.
We aren't normally around the Newstead area but we pleasantly surprised to find this massive Bunnings here. The first Bunnings I've been in with "air conditioning". Think I miss the roaring of the big fans at the end of each row. 2 levels is a novelty too. Really well laid out and easy to find everything at the usual good pricing.
Staff in the lumber area were very helpful and happy to help us with it the best materials for our project.
