5499 percent of the staff are great. They had what I needed and their website listed which aisle and that was a big help. Only thing is most of what I need is always up the top,
I was charged a wood cutting fee, I've shopped at bunnings Gympie and Bunnings oxenford an had wood cut at both and not once was I charged with a wood cutting fee. I was not informed by the gentleman cutting the wood that I would be charged.
Ive contacted 5 bunnings stores and all said NO we don't charge wood cutting fees and they have never heard of it, on top of that the 10 mins it took for the rude customer service assistant to figure things out at the counter was ridiculous, they had placed 2 different prices in my name in the computer system and of course I was charged the higher amount. I will be making complaints to head office and fair trading as bunnings states on website's that all stores have the same pricing. You also have to unpack boxes and find the items you need yourself and not once in the last 4 months have I been approached and asked if I needed help. I was today helping other customers find what they needed. Who where complaining about the service and no stock opened and unpacked on the shelves. I was told to apply for a job because I know what I'm doing and where thing's are, your customer service team is disgraceful and really need training in product information, general customer service skills and customer satisfaction.
Ive never been to a bunnings with such bad service and never have I had to unpack stock myself to get what I needed.
Absolutely appalling.
I am absolutely impressed with the expertise of Steve Tatnell in the paint department. I had to match a colour to a patch in my bedroom. I did not have a colour sample, but in the store l found two samples similar, one a bit darker and one a bit lighter. Over to Steve, l needed one in the middle. He mixed one up that when applied is so perfect no one can pick out the patch. He is a great asset to Bunnings.
Love this store! Great customer service, friendly staff who really do serve with a smile. I love the store layout, the wide aisles, no clutter within the aisles.
Great store but really needs more staff on a busy Saturday. Minimal checkouts open, big lines, nobody in the aisles

I go to Bunnings a lot. Recently, the quality of service at Kingaroy has been less that sub-standard; initially, it was amazing.
The first person I spoke to yesterday, did not listen to me at first, mistaking my request for an item as a request for an order; they made an arrogant smile during the exchange until they realised they made the mistake and we were less than impressed.
Next, we went to return some items and buy more. There was no one on refunds. I asked the front door woman if we should wait here. She started treating us like cattle: go here, do this, then promptly changed her mind, 'telling' us to stay there. Initially, she told us to wait in a massive line on one side, then come back to do this.
Thirdly, the returns woman, told us we had to bring all hose connections in to replace the one that instantly did not work. I told her I just wanted it replaced and it would be a massive waste of my time to undo and take back everything in the pack. She argued this, and in the argument, said, well, what if it keeps not working (around other customers in ear-shot). I replied, if your products are so rubbish, maybe we shouldn't be buying them. Then she said, she 'Bunnings' was only the supplier. I replied, you're not the supplier. She then came around to check whether there were the correct amount of bags of potting mix, while many people were waiting; they were all there.
Lastly, I came back into the store as I forgot to get a melamine shelf, which needed cutting and readhesive. The last staff member was very pleasent, but had no idea how to help me, looking up laminate and saying they only have laminate benchtops. I could see when he looked it up, that there were 100s of results coming back, and he obviously could not know whether they had the product, what the product was and how to best assist me. I've bought this product at Bunnings before.
Overall, it's very clear that many of the workers left, seem very much focussed on their work, which is not related to customers, they treat many of the customers as an inconvenience and irritant, and seemingly are so stressed out from what they need to do, that they cannot be of any to much help.

I've never been to a Bunnings store before, I went to the Kingaroy store from Yarraman and when I entered I was greeted by a wonderful young man who pointed me in the direction that i need to go (I needed to buy 9 litre plastic buckets) I got lost so another wonderful man helped me find them and I was even able to buy them in different colours, I bought 6 buckets which at most other stores could go up to $5 each, I paid 95 cents each for the buckets, I was so shocked by the price, the lady at the register counter was so helpful and friendly (as was all the staff that I encountered) I have never encountered such helpful, friendly, smiling staff at any other store, I recommend this store to anyone and I congratulate Bunnings on their staff's assistance and range of products.
This has got to be queenslands worse customer service well atleast from what i seen. What an absolute joke this bunnings is the staff dont know where nothing is i ask twice 2 different employees and still didnt get what i wanted and i decided to try an alternative but was not going to work yet the staff could not tell me where i could get the right stuff they are useless staff and you had to walk everywhere just to find one ive never experienced this type of service in my life what a disgrace
It was Great. We were traveling thru and they let me have me little pooch come shopping with us. Love it and so did other people lol.

I have worked in retail all my life so I understand the need for security but my partner and I where treated like absolute criminals the hole time we were in this shop.

Never crowded and the range is still very good.
Went there mid morning, plenty of people around and only 1 check out open with a long queue. Spent a few hundred dollars there and only saved $1.48 using my power pass trade account. Also purchased a $60 terracotta pot, which had a huge crack in it that I only noticed on loading. Went back to return or exchange and was refused saying I damaged it (I dont understand that logic). Wrapped it in padding in hopes it might be salvaged, by the time I got to the yard it had split.
Waste of money and cheap manufacturing process lead to poor quality products sold by Bunnings and no customer service. I'll take my business elsewhere and continue to buy trade supplies outside the area again.

Very unimpressed for a bunnings. Staff we're too busy socialising with family members to direct my inquiries. Trade doors closed at 1500hrs, cluttered store with floor stock not packed away. Gavw up looking for a staff member or manager to help me went to mitre10 next door and was served immediately. Disgusted bunnings. Pick your game up.
The store was conveniently located, clean, the staff were helpful and I found great ideas for father's day.
