Bunnings Gympie reviews
54We are closer to Noosaville store but prefer Gympie bunnings because they seem to always have what we are looking for
Just stood at Cafe for 5mins listening to staff member serving another staff member flat out whinging about work, I left after failing to be served or even acknowledged while waiting, absolute rubbish seevice
Not good for spare parts had to go to Noosaville Bunnings to pick up the part. Communication is a very 2star form Gympie Bunnings.
There was onion on the floor again!
I looked where I was going, lifted my feet and missed it.
Can't stay out of the place love it, get all I need for garden, plumbing, light bulbs, wood, pavers, chainsaw, pruners ECT.
Bunnings Gympie have great service and customer care. Recomended in spite of current regulations
Low score as I had a list of things to buy but couldn't find any staff member to help, even girl at front door sent me in the wrong direction, so I left.
Big range of gear.
Compared to my local Bunnings it is a super store. Cafe had good range of food for lunch.
Its a GIANT MAN CAVE.wife went shopping so i come here and cut loose.thumbs up and shop till i drop.
Large Store with diverse products and good road access. Friendly, cheery, helpful staff. Large amount of camping gear with would be handy for those going to Rainbow Beach, Inskip Point and the Island.
I returned a faulty product only to be treated so badly by staff at Gympie Bunnings. They made me pay again despite having the receipt and buying it the previous day and NOT using it. So paid twice for the same product. This is a disgrace. A big company ripping off hard working people, typical, they get richer at our expense while we struggle more. Bernadette is the most rudest, nastiest and unprofessional woman. She should be working out the back where she doesn't deal with public NOT at customer service. Very dishonest company and their return policy is false
Fabulous place to shop. Staff are friendly and helpful and the range of stuff is huge. If you can't find it at bunnings then it doesn't exist.
Disappointed with the service. Not a lot of smiles and felt like I was interrupting them. Prices were higher than IKEA. I used to love Bunnings too.
Can't get away from this place, Bunnings just has everything you need in the one place.
And having a sausage sizzle outside is always a bonus.
BAD BAD BAD
On 28 June 2021 we booked a Bunnings Handy Rentals Ute online for 3 days and paid by debit card.
Because of a user unfriendly and confusing online booking system, we travelled to Bunnings Gympie so as to finalise and confirm the booking for the ute that was to picked up the next day at 7: 00am.
All was good (we thought), but on travelling to Bunnings Gympie the next day to collect the ute, Bunnings staff refused to give us the ute because the debit card we were using for payment was not a credit card and had not been charged.
Never ever having experienced this inability to use a debit card before, and were suitably annoyed to find out that our debit card was not acceptable, and even an offer of cash was also refused.
We do not own a credit card and never intend to apply for one as our debit card facilities always work fine, and in fact we have previously used a debit card to hire a Bunnings Ute.
It is clear that the terms of hiring a Bunnings Ute have changed, and while the hirer can change to onerous terms of debit card / credit card acceptance… IT IS INCUMBENT TO INFORM THE HIRER OF THESE CHANGED TERMS.
We were caused substantial inconvenience by this totally unreasonable behaviour causing us extra expense, so in future Bunnings Handy Hire, you can shove your hire business where the sun don’t shine.
Do yr research before buying or asking for add vice from staff they know nothing about the products or any handy man advice yr made to feel awkward. So don't ask for any help from staff. But there would be one amongst all of them that know a few things.rude staff, so disopointing
No female work boots on the website for under $120 and apparently we just love pink shoes not boots yet my male partner working in the same industry can easily pick them up for $30 no issues
Best service we've ever had at a Bunnings Store! Friendly and helpful staff and Phil in the paint department deserves a pay rise.
Thanks so much guys, will definitely be back!
Don't want to give phone or email just for receipt. Would like itemised hard copy so I can check it against what I have purchased.
I went in there late Saturday afternoon. I only wanted two products, both adding up to well over $1700. I was treated very poorly by some upstart queen, who accused me of being rude (I wasn't), and I'd be removed from the store. I was completely gobsmacked, and when I specifically asked for his help with a mechanical lifter, he gave me every excuse why he couldn't. I walked out without spending a cent. Bunnings, you sure have some way to go in teaching your staff about respecting the customer. Has made me a Mitre 10 fan.
