Poor service and racist comments are not acceptable. Yes, you guys are doing the right thing advertising for a supervisor. Seems the staff need to learn how to treat customers properly and wake up to the fact that without the customers, the staff have no job.

Smaller store but the staff make up for that with their knowledge, friendliness and there's ample parking. Special orders are welcome.

Been there multiple times and they claim you can Afterpay but I challenge anyone to try and do it as the staff have zero idea, in 4 attempts of trying on 4 different occasions not once have I been able to do it! The staff have zero idea, and it never works. Why offer something if you can’t figure out how to do it! Maybe a refresher course for your dim witted staff is in order! We live in Bowen and travel in once a year and buy big and bulk and really would prefer to use Afterpay to take the load off but nope! Also tried click and collect money came out $900 worth than was rejected as they hadn’t updated there stock lists and something wasn’t there so I had to wait 8 days for my money to be refunded! After countless phone calls and emails they blamed
my bank lol I was fortunate enough to get my bank to call them and tell them how to properly do it!

So no after pay or click and collect! Dimwits need retraining or some basic knowledge, and don’t get me started on if you need some advice or a hand in the shop, useless.

Home hardware is clearly pricier but have knowledgeable staff! This is truly one of the worse customer service experiences I’ve ever had

It was good to have one, but this is the smallest one I have seen. I have a habit of gettingBunnings coffee and the Bunning Cafe, and this place did not have one.

This is a shout out to SARAH shes usually on the serving counter when you walk in, right where she should be, she makes everyone laugh and puts a smile on your dial, when telling her she is the perfect person for the job, she replied, well for some people i may be the only person they talk to in a day or week and she wants everyone to feel special and she said if she can put a smile on their face and better still make them laugh it makes HER happy, she also mentioned its HER HAPPY PLACE … HOW BEAUTIFUL, gee imagine if there were more Sarahs in this world and to the rest of the friendly staff, absolutely lovely and ever so obliging BUNNINGS AIRLIE BEACH obviously employ based on personality cause ya just couldn’t fluke so many like minded beautiful people all in one store

Wanted to leave some positive feedback for the excellent customer service we received by one of your male team members at the service counter yesterday (18th December 2021, around 11: 30am-12pm) unfortunately we can’t remember his name.

We were picking up two large boxes that required retrieving the gazebo order and helping us load these into our vehicle.

It was incredibly busy in store being the last weekend before Christmas and the first day of the mandatory mask rules- but your team member was still patient, polite, friendly and helpful.
A real asset to your store.

A smaller than usual bunnings. So often lacking stock and unsure of whether they have stock. Often awkward to awful service and checking etc.which is consistent with an Airlie Beach sub culture of alcohol etc. It's the only place I've had a beer bottle thrown at me on the side of the road for no reason. But basically functional as a bunnings for many things and often usual good service.
Some examples
- they suggested to check for timber panels in the metal gates,
-said they had an item in stock but only a few so drive down to get it and then not actually there,
-asked to check for chairs in stock via product name and said they didnt have them when a check later showed they did.
-Similar occasional awkward customer service other people mentioned in reviews.
-from an order of over $1000 they managed to order in about $100 worth; they didn't notice a mirror door had a curve in it (though did give a refund), got the wrong colour dishwasher
-supplied the wrong metal studs for walls (tracks rather than studs)

We have made a number of visits in the last week and we compliment the staff at this store. I am happy to say this store has given us our best Bunnings experience. Special mention to the girls doing kitchen quotes. We keep making changes but all smiles from the girls. Thier knowledge of the product excellent.

Prices should be the same everywhere they should have the same deals and specials every other Bunnings gets.
I wouldn't have give it any stars at all but the staff there are the best ive seen at a bunnings to date.
They really need to pick up their slack for builders. I do think it's due for an expansion

Disgraceful service from the trade desk. Not helpful at all today. The worst Bunnings experience I have ever had. I'd sack the guy if he worked for me. Lucky for him he doesn't.
