Brookside Shopping Centre reviews
53Brookside Shooping Centre hasn't been the same since Myer closed its doors 2 years ago. I've had a lot of fond memories of Brookside when I was growing up; but now it's just another shopping plaza with pricey food outlets.
It has definitely improved!
No longer Myers, now a Target. Which is pretty big, but it's only the one floor. Big W is also up the top end. There's a Cotton On, (it's MASSIVE) where the old food court was, which has now shifted up the center more.
And my favorite, TK Maxx!
There's also a Coles & Woolworths, chemist, bakery, etc.
I like the new changes to the centre but I wasnt able to locate any pram parking spots near the main entry points from the underground carpark. Also, the way the guard rain is set up near the underground entrance (under gloria jeans) means that you cant use the footpath to walk safely closer to your car, as the guard rail is continuous and you cant get off the footpath to your car.
It has two supermarkets and the big shops big W and Target. Not a huge variety of shops.
Food court wise not many options at all, which is very disappointing. Not enough seating either.
Whenever I come here I nearly always have people approaching me to sign up to something, donate, etc, which is very frustrating, often why I dont look around because it's very annoying and repetitive.
Bus stop is convenient and lots of free parking.
It used to be a good place once, but now there is not much to attract people. No eatery as such anymore just boring coffee shops. It's ok if you just need groceries but that's all in my opinion.
Nice shopping centre with ample parking. You get many shops including BigW, Target, Coles and Woolies
Good variety of shops, not the best but can get alot of items here, a small to moderate size shopping centre
Handy mall with large grocery stores and a variety of shops and eateries. There are public computers and a printer for rent at the foot of the escalator to the carpark.
Good nice vibe friendly staff clean neat tidy wheelchair accessible and good food at coffee club highly recommend cheers Lynda Clark hairdresser
Nice fitout and plenty of new and on-trend vendors popping up, making the centre a great option for locals! Now if only they could put in a few more directional signs (this way to, best parking for, exit) in the parking lots for those of us who can't quite get the swing of the labyrinth.
It's ok.improving. No longer Myers now a Target. Big W is also up the top end. There's a Coles & Woolworths. Beware of Thursday's (pension day), it gets VERY busy! And there's a Cotton On too, it is MASSIVE!
Limited shops, but sufficient. There are 2 jewellers and 2 major grocery stores in this small centre.
It’s nothing expectations but in needs think big to competitive like Westfield the need bit more variety to keep up with the big stores
Really like this shopping centre. Not huge but good variety, covers most weeks needs for me, two big supermarkets, a target and big w, some less common shops like Mind Games, Typo and a massive Cotton on. Loads of parking. Clean, loos are good, getting more food places after redevelopment. Could do with more casual clothes shops I suppose and a jbhifi wouldn't go amiss! Wouldn't want too many people discovering it though!
Great local shopping center with everything you need in one place. There's been lots of renovations and the center keeps getting better. We love the book swap and activities for kids.
Nice enough and decent selection of stores, but how can you have a shopping centre this size with NO FOOD COURT?
Big shopping mall with different food, clothing and other stores. Public restroom. A lot of parking places but just a few parking slots outside for big vehicles or vehicles higher than 2,3 meters (difficult with roof basket). Mall is not good overseeable.
The shopping Centre itself is quite nice for its size, however some people just don't know how to park which makes it quite inconvenient. There are plenty of shops and the retail staff are quite helpful and friendly.
Shopping is good, but due to lack of seating, we went elsewhere for lunch. The new food court is looking vastly inferior to the old one in terms of food offerings and seating space.
