I’ve had the pleasure of being a Behan member since moving to Toowoomba last year. I cannot recommend this gym enough. The community is amazing, a true family vibe. Im a bit older (48) and the team were very welcoming, encouraging, as well as really experienced Juijitsu practitioners. I’ve really enjoyed the experience. Justin - the head coach is a great instructor fully deserving of that black strap around his waist.

Only just started about a month ago but already love this club. Super inviting and positive atmosphere. Very welcoming group. Great hands on coaching.

I have trained with Justin and various other members for some time now and have forged some great friendships.

Also a well structured timetable and plenty of classes to get to throughout the week, the classes always have good attendance which is great for variety of training partners of all different shapes and sizes. I started training with Justin and the team at Behan Jiu Jitsu a few months ago and they have all been nothing short of amazing. All the coaches and students are so welcoming and helpful and always make you feel like part of the family. The kids and teens classes are really good too, highly recommend to anyone!

An awesome BJJ gym, would highly recommend!

Starting out fresh in the sport and new to the gym I was a little nervous but Justin and his trainers are incredibly kind, knowledgeable and great at coaching.

The environment and atmosphere is ideal! The members are respectful, approachable and everyone is learning/improving together.

I’m thankful for the options in the timetable, I’m able to attend a class even with varying work hours.

Have 2 girls that have really enjoyed this experience. They started as complete beginners and the learning environment is very friendly and supportive. Instructors keep a good pace. Would highly recommend even just a social experience for kids and no doubt a great confidence builder. Well done Behan Jiu Jitsu!

A wholesome and welcoming community. This is my first time ever doing any martial art and I haven't looked back. Justin explains any questions you may have clearly and in a transparent way that eases you into your fist lessons. All the training partners are easy to talk to and will go at your pace so you can find your footing.

After having a not so pleasant experience at a different club, i was hesitant about the sport of BJJ all together. However walking into Justin’s gym has turned that all around. I started off in the women’s only class and, with the help of Justin and his team, have gained the confidence to join the mixed classes- gaining so much confidence in myself and my abilities. I have never felt so welcomed and supported! Justin is so passionate about this sport and it shines through his classes, and has helped me to develop a love for the sport also
