What happend to good old fashioned service.

I went in today to buy two replacement batteries for car remotes and was told by one of the team that the batteries were $15.00 each. I paused for a moment and inquired as last time I purchased them they were $5.00 each and that was 3 times the price.

I was kindly told that the batteries are $5.95 each and the extra $9.00 per remote was to fit them. Again I asked the question as fitting is not rocket science, its slide off the little plastic cover, take out the old battery and insert the new one.

I was then told (again very politely) that they also test the new battery to make sure it is not flat.

So I am paying $9.00 per battery for them to test and make sure that they have not sold me a dud product in the first place.

What happend to good old customer service, where you walk in and pay a little bit more but get actual service?

And if they had said to me we will fit it for a gold coin per remote to go in the staff drinks fund etc, I would have done it in a heart beat.

I have been in to this store many times in the past, sadly with this attitude, they will no longer be my "go-to" in the future!

Guys were very knowledgeable when I called with my vehicle info and then had the battery ready when I arrived in store, 15 minutes later.

Out of all the Battery Worlds Australia wide Cannon Hill Battery World sets an extraordinary example when it comes to service. With confidence I can guarantee you anything less than 5 star is irrelevant to the team. Have never lets us down not once and would go the extra miles to keep us moving with any breakdowns we have. If you haven't tried battery world, give them a go. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I've used their services to replace batteries on my previous cars and have been very pleased. Today when I went in, it was no different.

Overnight my car battery went flat and I had to jump start to get it going. Not knowing if I needed a new battery or not I took my car to battery world.

Instead of simply replacing my battery they performed a quick battery test and identified that it was in good working order. The issue was a loose connection onto the battery, which they also happily sorted.

Simple issue but impressive integrity and great service.

Will be back once this battery does eventually die.

The staff were as friendly as they were professional. They answered all of my questions and taught me valuable information for the future. I am very grateful to them.

I would just like to thank Connor at Battery World Cannon Hill for the great service, and also Scott from Battery World Ipswich, who helped us purchase an inverter and kept us on the road over the camping trip. We had to purchase a new camping battery due to our old one that failed, Connor provided all the details and advice and also just happened to check, test our car battery and found out it was not preforming and needed replacing, called RACQ and had them replace it.thanks for the exceptional service guys. These guys are professionals & they will look after you well. I previously had a flat car battery. They did NOT sell me a new battery after they tested and found out my current car battery is still in a good condition after I recharged it.

Unless you know exactly what you want don't bother. Rather than look at the computer that he was sitting in front of they thought better to pull some numbers from their heads. Maybe work on selling the customer what they want. It's ok I went to the Capalaba store and they helped me out. Shame I had to go to another store to get proper customer service!
