Backstreet is such a positive, fun environment where we feel welcomed every week. Deb goes above and beyond with everything and is an extremely generous, supportive role model for all.

There is so much to like about Backstreet Dance! Deb is a genuinely lovely person and the whole crew is so professional and friendly. We love that there’s a concert at the end of every term and that it’s super organised and easy for all involved. We have been to 2 other dance schools in Cairns and this one is the best for so many reasons. Kids’ confidence and enjoyment is paramount here and I think that’s the way it should be! Looking forward to many more years at Backstreet.

My experience for my family and myself with Deb and the Backstreet team has been absolutely amazing.
The positivity and uplifting nature of Deb and her team is evident the second you are welcomed through the front door.
I have seen my children blossom over the year through dancing at Backstreet Dance. Their confidence has grown in all aspects of their lives, especially school and Kindy.
My 6 year old, who was once too shy to put his hand up in class, now, not only does he do that he also loves to show off new dance moves infront of the class!
I also must mention that the concerts are spine tingling incredible.

My 8 year old son started with Backstreet Dance just over a year ago. When he started, he was reluctant, shy, apprehensive to shake a leg. Fast forward to date - Backstreet Dance has brought the passion out of this boy. He LOVES dancing! He even did a showcase with Deb, the instructor, which was truly loved by the auidence.

Deb can be described in 2 words - she is a POWER HOUSE, without doubts! She is just amazing and brings the best out of her students! One would never see a dull moment in her institution as she also has an AMAZING team of teachers that do an amazing job with teaching the different forms of dances.

It is such a joy to be a part of this community and we are absolutely happy and lucky to have found Backstreet Dance. Can't wait for term 1,2022 to start. Whoo hoo!

I joined Backstreet Dance now for one year and never looked back, wishing I had joined many years ago.
Classes are so much fun, I look forward to them every week, and has been a great way to improve my physical health and well-being.
Dancing at Backstreet gives you a great energy boost with a super positive vibe.
I've always wanted to dance and Backstreet Dance has not only improved my confidence as an adult, but I've also learnt some amazing choreography and met fabulous people and made some great friendships.
I highly recommend Backstreet Dance for anyone as it's for all ages from beginners to advanced.
There's no pressure to perform, and love how everyone encourages you just to be you as there's no competition.

I love Backstreet Dance! The atmosphere is all about fun and encouragement. I only started dancing a year ago, so i'm no pro, but Backstreet are about learning and building skills and confidence.

Backstreet Dance is a great dance school for anyone who wants to have fun, build confidence and perform. My daughter has thrived in this all inclusive, no pressure environment. Miss Deb and all of the teachers allow her to be herself and express her passion for dance, music and performing. It is a beautiful and positive environment!

Both my daughters are now at Backstreet Dance and they love it. The setup is that the kids do 7-8 classes and then perform in a concert. My daughter was very shy and unsure at the beginning and was adamant she wasn't going to do the concert (which is perfectly fine and not compulsory). However by class 4 she was into it and now has performed in 4 concerts with a big smile on her face. They have tried all the different styles and every teacher has been full of positivity and enthusiasm. There are lots of young dance assistants helping out in the class which is good as our girls idolise them and they are certainly the type of teenagers we want them to be like. Can't fault anything about Backstreet and for an 'anti dance class' dad, we have been super impressed.

I love Backstreet Dance. The teachers are so positive, glowing with energy, enthusiasm and genuine kindness exudes from everyone. It is very inclusive and is for anyone who just wants to dance and have fun without pressure to be perfect. It doesn't matter what you look like, as long as you can move your body then you will love this place. Deb the owner is a powerhouse of positivity and knows every kid and parent by name. She is super organised, the website is always up to date, instructions are very clear to understand (i.e when returning dance costumes etc) and she is just such a great role model for my girls.

Our daughter (and thus our whole family) have been part of the back street dance family for a year now. Deb and her team made our daughter feel very welcome from day 1 and that is only one of the many things that keeps us coming back term after term

Holly has been at Backstreet Dance for one year now and thoroughly enjoys performing her dance on the stage every term. Miss Deb and Miss Brooke have been a great influence on Holly and really bring out the best in her dynamic personality.
Chloe thoroughly enjoyed her performance this term. She was really able to 'rock it' and it gave her so much confidence both on and off the stage. She has enjoyed attending her Saturday morning classes and both her teachers have been awesome.

My 4yo daughter Lenny has been at Backstreet for a year and she loves it! I have seen her gain so much confidence in herself and love watching her perform on stage at the end of each term. Deb, Jeff, Brooke, Ellie and the team are so professional and always radiating positivity! Thanks guys and can't wait for next term:) x
