I walked in having no clue what kind of tent I wanted. Luckily, I came across Cameron, who was the loveliest, most helpful team member. He went out of his way to explain the pros and cons of each item, told me his personal experiences and that helped me (a complete newbie) to decide what was best suited for me.

It’s not often you come by this kind of customer service.

As I write this I am taking a break from reading a book as I sit in the world’s comfiest camping chair in the dry comfort of the tent I bought yesterday, as we go on hour 6 of medium to heavy rain. Cameron helped me navigate my needs and budget to find the best camping equipment, and did so in a genuine and helpful manner. Usually when sales associates ask if I need help I say no, as they often don’t truly have the info and knowledge to help me make my purchasing decisions. Cameron took time to fully understand my needs and I left outfitted with all I needed, spending less than I thought I would when I entered the store. Thank you! Ten stars.

Gus was so helpful tonight when my friend and I were trying on bags. He helped us with picking our bags, letting us try different weights and helped us with adjustments. Will definitely be buying one of the bags that Gus recommended. Thanks Gus you legend!

Great place to pick up a lot of different gear although stock hasn't been great on occasion for certain things I'm after.

Went in just to window shop and left with the last fridge of the Dometic upright fridge range. All thanks to team member Gus who was very informative and helpful. Was taken back by the great interpersonal skills and knowledge Gus showcased not just as a worker but as a young individual and the genuine care he and the team at Chermside had. A little while back I made a purchase of a mini presso to take to a relative in hospital. I was so frazzled that I picked up the wrong one. When I walked straight back in the women working couldn't have been more friendly & helpful. I was so grateful for how quick and easy they made it for me to exchange.

I was looking for a water bottle and drove all the way to chermside as on the website it said they had them in stock.later to find out they had none but waited 20 mins for the lady to search it up.i am suggesting that they update their website as it was misleading.hope this will help other people.

Went to Anaconda at chermside for some hiking boots, Ariane came to my rescue what an angel so patient and full on knowledge I tried on every boot on the shelf and still no luck, Ariane got different sizes reserved at Everton Park Anaconda, so off I went and was greeted by Damien who was also super friendly + helpful with so much knowledge in walking boots + products, so nice to find such lovely helpful staff who actually care you get the correct fitting boots fantastic service well guys! …

Walked around looking at stuff for about 20 minutes. Wasn’t busy. Saw two staff that were walking around doing nothing and didn’t ask us for help. Was going to to buy a 10 person tent and a bunch of other things but will now go somewhere else.

Incredibly friendly staff who go above and beyond, staff are willing to find you the best price too!
