We came here for a birthday dinner. The meals took an hour to come out, the ‘blue’ steak was well done, the other steaks were cold, pork belly was so cold the fat had jellied. Staff at the bar were very rude to my son. When the staff were told they didn’t seem to care. We have been here plenty of times and this was just such a disappointment.

Food, service and atmosphere was great. I'd have no problem eating there again if was in the area.

The perfect venue for the HNM Xmas get together - 100% for presentation, taste/flavour for a quality meal - a meal I'll definitely enjoy again

I love going to the ACT for a steak on a Sunday night. We like to sit in the 2 person booth by the bar.

Good areas for kids. Steaks if Good quality and prepared well. The room feels like a boarding school refectory

The rump 250 g steak was very tough & I had the prawn toppers and for $9 got 4 instead of 5.kitchen can't count? I live close by, but & have not eaten here since February 2021 & now I know why. Drinks were great, but you can't possibly stuff that up.

My chicken schnitzel was bassin bassin I liked it a lot because I ate all of my dinner plus the water was on point

Stopped for a lunch time refreshment at the ACT today and was served by Kayla O. She was engaging, professional and good fun. Made my day. Cheers

Having just had our meals delivered and our grandson taking ill they refused to " doggy bag" our meals. Walked out leaving meals and untouched drinks. Covid given as reason but following evening saw it happen at a club. Won't rush back

My wife and I came in for dinner for her 50th birthday. Food was excellent and the service from the staff was prompt and friendly.

We had lunch here today. I had the stuffed chicken wrapped in prosciutto with broccolini and a pumkin mash and a garlic cream sauce. OMG! It was so delicious and fresh! Thankyou albany Creek tavern

Tonight we popped in for dinner on a Sunday night. Didn't make a booking, but thankfully there was a little booth for the 2 of us.
I ordered the Special - Chicken, pesto wrapped in prosciutto, with sweet potato mash and broccolini. YUMMMMMM! Oh My Stars! This was quite literally the best main i've had at our local Tavern after living here for 18 years. This one's a keeper Chef! Pop it on the menu please! Succulently cooked chicken - and i'm a tad fussy with my chook. My hubby's eye fillet was also sensational. Keep up the great work, we'll be back again, and again.

Very nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Would come back again if I'm in the area again.

Edit: I came back and it was just as great the second time around.

Its been awhile seen I have been here. It doesn't look like it had changed much.

They might want to ensure their bar staff know how to pour a drink before letting them lose amongst the customers.

Food came out incorrect and cold, informed the staff member who brought the food over to us, he took it back to the kitchen, brought the same meal back to us still cold and then went back to the kitchen to bring back some cold chips that were missing. Cold gravy is not exactly appetizing and neither is cold pizza. Wasn't going to review but this has happened a few times, staff are lovely but I think the chef needs to be concerned about food safety as our meals weren't hot when we got them. My 79 year old grandmothers roast was barely warm, which we asked to be reheated in the microwave, which it was, but as a chef I would think they should be concerned about the temp of the food they are serving to patrons. I would like to reiterate that the staff are welcoming and always lovely but the food standard needs to be improved.

Came in tonight, customer service was below average, amd the food wasnt any better. Do not reccommend, lucky there are other places to eat in this area.

Great food, friendly helpful staff, and reasonable prices, all the reasons we'll go back for lunch another day

Security guard on the door was rather rude and unpleasant. Staff inside were friendly and helpful though. Honestly if we hadn't walked there, I would have gone elsewhere due to the rude security.

Unaware of the Rulings around Checking in!

Instead of upsetting your clients and telling them that they will no longer be able to return UNLESS they have the QLD Govt Covid App.check the legislation! Because the tavern will no longer be providing a check in point - so unless you have the app, you can no longer dine in. (she didn’t want to use her own data to check us in - however according to the legislation, it states the hotel is to have an alternate method to check in.which they don’t have.)

My husband & l both had roast of the day (beef) plus sweets, wine & a cider. They were all very nice.
